002

Location Unknown.

When his eyes opened he could only see white, the walls and ceiling were completely white, the sheets were also white, his body didn't feel like his, he felt weak almost as if his life was ending.

'What's going on?' he thought, the last thing he remembered was some kind of office and a conversation with a pretty girl, but all his other thoughts and memories were in chaos: 'Transmigration' was the word he got once his mind was clear.

A laugh was what his mouth attempted however instead what came out of his mouth was similar to a dry cough, he felt as if his throat and mouth were being scraped hard.

Trying to control the cough with a little success, he began to look around a little more in the room he was in, recognizing it with a little difficulty as a hospital room at least that was his first guess due to the devices that were attached to it.

The next thing he discovered was that he was skinny, skinny enough that his bones were somewhat easy to see, that along with the fact that his limbs seemed to resent his movements probably meant that he had been in bed for a considerable amount of time, possibly in a coma.

If what Lux mentioned was true then the body must have remained to someone in his 20s, in his old world he was only 24, so he should be of a similar age if her words were true.

Stopping to think about it, he started to move his hand to a kind of cylinder with a big red button, he supposed it was an emergency button like the ones in his old world, so he pressed it without hesitation.

The response was quick, almost five seconds after pressing the button, a lady in the standard nurse's uniform quickly entered the room, her first reaction was to open her eyes in surprise, but she instantly calmed her state and began to attend to the patient.

"Mr. Osborn, can you hear me?" the questions asked were assumed to be routine, but they caused strong fluctuations in the emotions of the man in the bed.

'Mr. Osborn' he repeated the nurse's words in his mind, while he didn't consider himself a Marvel fan, he certainly knew the name Osborn after all it is the same last name of the greatest enemy Spider-Man has ever had.

Things could be awful if the body he was in were Norman Osborn's, he just hoped it was a Norman son, Harry Osborn, plus remembering Lux's words about age it was obvious it couldn't be Norman as he had a very large age gap.

'You will be sent to one of your favorite universes, in your case it will be an alternate version of Marvel' As he thought about the impossibility of being Norman Osborn he remembered Lux's explanation, the fact that in the 616 universe Norman was much older than him had nothing to do with it now due to the fact that he was in an alternate universe, possibly one that had not even been seen or even existed until this moment.

He was so deep in thought that he never noticed that several people had arrived, a couple of doctors and a few nurses had arrived quickly, indicating that the man's identity was not common.

"Mr. Osborn, can you hear me?" this time the question was asked by a man perhaps in his 50s, he seemed to be the head doctor, if that is what his position was called he didn't know.

"Where am I? Who are you?" at the moment he had no recollection of the life of the previous owner of the body and only had a hint of his identity, so he could only play the amnesia card for the moment, he just hoped that the memories would soon appear or else it would be somewhat problematic.

The answers came quickly: "Mr. Osborn, my name is Edward Jenner, and I am the head doctor of the hospital, tell me do you have any kind of discomfort?" he asked with concern.

"I don't remember anything" he mentioned simply and plainly, which caused Edward to be surprised and a little chaos was provoked in the room.

Due to the statement he made, he was taken to make certain analyses, which led to the discovery of damage in the part of the brain that was responsible for retaining the memories which had not healed completely, he understood that the damage did not seem to be irreversible, but it was not possible to estimate in how much time his memory would return.

The answer was a simple I don't know, it could be in a few days or several months, perhaps much longer.

It was also thanks to Edward that he managed to know that indeed as he feared from the beginning the body he was in belonged to Norman Osborn, which sent him to think exactly what kind of version of Norman he would be, from everything he remembered about him there was not a single version where he could say he was good.

He just hoped the former Norman hadn't started with his acts of villainy, from what he could find out through questions to his doctors, he knew that he had been involved in a really bad car accident, where his driver lost his life and the person who was driving the other vehicle had also passed away leaving him as the only survivor of the accident.

Norman was currently lying in bed in his room, which was inside the VIP area of the hospital, which explained the quick response of the doctors.

"Mr. Osborn you have a visitor" one of the nurses who was there when he woke up mentioned to him before asking him if he agreed to see them, Norman thought about turning them down, but it was a good way to find out more about the body's past.

Giving the positive indication he could soon see a man of a considerable age possibly in his late 50s walk in, his hair whitish from the passage of time, dressed in a black suit and tie of the same color underneath the suit he had a white shirt for all intents and purposes it reminded him of a butler's wardrobe.

Behind the man he could see a young woman possibly in her early twenties, her green eyes looked like precious emeralds while her long red hair flowed like a waterfall to just below her shoulders, a long-sleeved brown shirt with a high collar, her long legs stood out even with a simple pair of jeans.

Behind her however was something that caught Norman's attention practically from the moment the three people entered the room, a boy perhaps 4 years old seemed to be hiding, using the woman's legs as cover however his eyes never left Norman.

Little fragments of memory and emotions came suddenly to his mind and being, the memory of a young brown-haired woman: 'Emily' the name just came naturally to his mind.

The days when they were together, how they were both deeply in love, Norman built an empire to give the only woman he loved the life she deserved.

But fate played a trick on them, the day that was supposed to be the happiest day for the couple due to the birth of their son had ended up being the day the woman he loved lost her life.

The birth of their son, a happy occasion had taken away the woman he always loved, which caused a feeling of hatred and resentment against his son: 'If only he had not been born' was what the former Norman always thought when he saw his son, for him he was not, he was only the murderer of the woman he loved.

With so many negative memories and emotions plaguing his being, he simply did not know how to respond to that, they were affecting him as his face began to show some discomfort.

Suddenly the room changed on the fateful night when Emily died, it was as if he was living the events himself.

The woman was beautiful even with her pale face and weak breathing, which were indicative of what was happening, even in that state she had the most beautiful smile he had ever seen all the while she held her son with affection and love.

A few seconds later she looked at Norman and in a soft voice began to speak: -I'm sorry- she apologized: "I won't be able to see our son grow up, I won't be able to see your dream of making Oscorp the best company" her voice had a trace of regret that squeezed Norman's heart.

"The company is for you, everything I have done is for you, so that you could have all the things you deserved" Norman replied.

"I'm really sorry Norman" an apology came out of his lips again: "But you must not be sad, I will always be with you, besides you must take care of our son" mentioned with affection, while she tried to give the newborn baby to her beloved.

The Osborn carefully and hesitantly took it: "Harold Osborn" he heard Emily say in a low voice shortly after that her breathing stopped, however a smile was on his face as she saw the man he loved holding her son with care.

A pity or fortune that she could not see the events that occurred after her death, Norman's anger was only shown through his indifference to what was happening to his son, from his perspective it was considerate enough to keep him under the same roof as him.

Since Harold was born four years ago the times he had been in the same room with Norman could be counted on the fingers of one hand, much fewer times the older Osborn had spoken to his son, that's how Harold lived without any paternal or maternal love.

The memories ended abruptly, leaving Norman back in the hospital room: "Harry" he uttered softly and an immense tiredness made him begin to close his eyes.

The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was his son being held by the red-haired woman while the older man began to call the doctors and a few seconds later he lost consciousness.
