An Extraordinary Gentleman

Hey this is author here obviously giving myself a 5-star review. I have the concept in my mind for long time and this WPC gave me the boost to turn into the book. I hope everyone enjoys it and please let me know what you think in comments. Your support is the motivation for us authors!!!

Okay! First things first the background is interesting. I usually do not like long-ass explanatory opening but that one picked my interest. There are a lot of good things here. But, as in every book, there are issues. 1) That's a personal thought but I needed to say it, perfect type mcs kind of bore me. I've read too many of those these days and I need something refreshing. As I said, I'm only speaking for myself, although other readers might share my opinion. 2) That's the main issue. There is a mix of the past and present tense in your chaps. Here's my advice, stick to one tense. Apart from dialogs, descriptions should be either present tense or past tense only. It truly is confusing to read two tenses in one sentence. Usually, for various reasons, past tense is the way to go. Tho I got it that you might have wanted to differ your introductory story parts to the actual story. Still, check it out. It truly hinders your work, which is a pity. It has potential but that issue only cages it. Anyway, overall it's a good job. Keep it up! Y.R.

This book is interesting. I rarely read any mafia story before, but I can definitely tell this story will be great in the future. The world is well built and the characters are definitely interesting. Worth check it out.

Not really into Sci-fi but this definitely has potential. I can tell the author has a vast imagination that they didn’t fail to bring their readers into. There are few errors that can easily be fixed. You did a good job, author🤗🤗🤗.

I like the post-apocalyptic theme and the author seems to have a solid layout of the world he/she wants to build. The only thing that breaks the immersion is the occasional grammatical hiccups, most of which are typos (I think), its an interesting idea so I hope to see more.

Ok, so the first thing that attract me here is the world building. It is really detailed, descriptive and obtain many informations! One can easily see that the author put a lot of effort in this world background! Good job author! At first I was thinking that MC has little presence but you said it is intentional so will be waiting for more developments!!

I really like stories that take place in a twisted/apocalyptic world. The way the novel describes the different factions and how they work with one another is very interesting. The only flaws I've found were some sentences feeling like they needed an extra word in it but other than that, it's a well made novel. Keep it up!

Really great and polished writing and the subject matter is very grand and epic. The classic superhero/mafia/political drama around a future that we have not seen yet. Holds a lots of potential and cannot wait to see where the story goes. This will remain in my library. Thank you so much, author!

This is a well-thought-out world that holds a lot of promise. The writing could stand to be tightened up, as there are tense issues and other grammer issues. But the story is there and it will be interesting to see where it leads.

The story sound outstanding, given the means of superpowers and hybrid mutated beasts could be found in the pavements, wandering around the city. All of the informations were described by the author well, and I cannot wait to read more about this novel!

Solid story overall. The combat descriptions are honestly not my favorite, but I know that you do it in a way that is common on webnovel so I won't hold that against you. You explain things kind of like it's a video game. The world-building is excellent and you do a decent job describing the environment that the characters are in. You also do a decent job of describing how the important characters look which is atypical. It is also well-formatted and I didn't notice any spelling mistakes.
