In the depths of the darkest forest, I was running helplessly as tragedy unfolded before my eyes.

In these nightmare many shadows that I couldn't name appear countless times.

It is a nightmare of my past that I couldn't remember but even if it scares me it feels like home in their embrace.

Again like many other times I watched a man approach me he knelt down to match my height and said;

"Son listen carefully, your sister and mother's safety .. I will leave on your hand now. Protect them, guide them and love them..... I may or may not be there to witness your growth but my blessings will always be on you."

Saying so he turned away. As always my body moved by itself, Grabbing him nurvously with my tiny hand trying to say something.

"Aldric"

"Son don't worry about your dad he will return soon let go with mama we will be going to meet your grandfather... hehe.. how will they react after i show them my second child. when I introduce your sister their reaction was hilarious."

But I heard a women voice behind me turning around I witness the world most beautiful woman and the cutest creation a god can make and human can comprehend. Even though those faces will vanish when I wake up, even if I can't remember when I open my eyes, Dept in my heart I know they are the love of my life.

I don't know when or how I am being hugged and carried by her, she started running leaving the man alone .

'Even if he was left behind why is he still smiling?'

Many flaming arrows were trying to engluf us but he was there as a shild protecting us from behind.

When I was enjoying the heroic view of my supposed father the next second I witnessed the doom. I was standing holding a stick trying to protect my sister and my mother's body.

.....Yes, body a sword was piercings her neck... Blood were gushing out everywhere.

Seeing my futile attempt of protect them and my sister sobbing state, those guys with devil masks start laughing and toying with us.

Enjoying enough they approach me to deliver the finishing blow. I told my sister to leave and run but she was stubborn trying to drag our mother with her.

After I couldn't see them anymore I pointed my stick towards those guys and asked.

"You have the power to kill us all. why didn't you do it and chase us killing only one at a time."

Everything is same as always, the same people, the same place, the same tortured and the same reply.

'Ahh how naive this me is..... What am i complain about though I am different from this past me afterall...'

Hearing my word they all laugh off like some lunatics.

"Haaa Haaa..... -why he said- why- should we tell him ....hahaha I can't stop laughing well it's 'cause we enjoy this cat and mouse game don't worry we won't chase your sister if you entertain us longer with your struggle."

How many minutes has passed 1 or 2 minutes or just seconds I am already in a pool of blood,' it hurt, it really hurt.... m...myy leg can't move,' but i can see my severed hands, they broke every bones of me cut my limbs poke out my eyeball leaving just one to let me witness their torture. I can sense them leaving for my sister so in desperation I bite a leg of one of them, I don't know if it is a success. They got angry and started beating and torturing me again.

'Ahhh, i think it's time to wake up now. I hope i start remembering this dearm soon.'

In the heart of a kingdom Astoria there existed a forgotten slum, where the buildings leaned precariously and the streets were filled with the whispers of despair. In this desolate place a young kid woke up with sweat drenching his forehead,his heart pounding like a drum . Gasping for air, he frantically scanned the surroundings trying to shake off the remnants of his haunting dream.

Clamming down, the nightmare left his stomach growling with hunger. His small, cramped shack offered no solace from the rumbling emptiness within him. With a heavy heart and an empty belly, he ventured out into the dimly lit streets.

The market, will be bustling with activity soon but now it is to early and only lay shrouded in silence, save for the occasional stray dog sniffing through discarded goods. Aldric eyes darted from stall to stall, his gaze fixated on the fruits and vegetables displayed tantalizingly out of reach.

Driven by desperation, he crept closer, his footsteps barely audible against the cobblestone pavement. With trembling hands, he reached out, his fingers brushing against the smooth skin of a ripe mango. Just as he was about to snatch it, a voice sliced through the street.

Startled, Aldric froze, his heart pounding in his chest. A burly figure emerged from the shadows, the man look like a guard but he is wearing a casual clothes, his eyes narrowing as they locked onto Raj. "What do you think you're doing, boy?" he growled, his voice a low rumble in the darkness.

Caught red-handed, Aldric's mind raced for an excuse, but his parched throat could only manage a feeble whimper. The guard's expression softened slightly as he took in the sight of the thin, ragged boy before him. With a heavy sigh, he gestured toward the boy to come closer.

But a lender hand holds the grip of the boy and drags him inside the valley running away from the man.

"Shit i exposed myself you all hurry keep the princess in check. tsk.." saying that he look at the direction where the two kid ran off to.

" I don't know how princess unlocked ability like stealth... she can even hide her presence from us."

In another part of the street two youths a skinny boy and a girl in the hood were gasping for air.

The girl let go of his hand and spoke

"peww safe."

"What safe! why are you dragging me out here!!!!

"Hey don't be grumpy bro I save your ass over there, that man was a guard for sure if you get caught you will get hell of a beating."

Seeing her shrugging like she did nothing wrong I got frustrated and shouted at her.

What if he was going to give me something to eat.. moreover his expression says he was sympathising with me."

"Hahh you... are you a face reader or what you going to believe everyone just by looking at their face. Who know he is protecting someone from behind and because of you he got exposed and he is trying to explode his frustration on you."

' what is this girl grumbling about'

"Ok I had enough who are you why are you bothering me I was going to gamble, gamble if he beat me or feat me it is a worthy gamble if he beat me I can endure it and if...if he feat me it will keep me alive for some days...."

The girl's words got stuck on her throat not knowing how to reply to him.

Seeing his appearance she pity him, his muddy and thin skin, disable long heir, wearing ragged clothes on this cold winter morning, she feels regret immense regret for not looking after her kingdom in time.

' but I will change the rotten future, change my future, this kingdom's future, I will change everything, I will get a happy ending this time, I will not waste this chance, I will find him for sure.'

"Take what you need," she said quietly, her voice tinged with compassion. "But remember, there are other ways to survive in this world than stealing."

"Hah"

"I said I will buy you what you want to eat and we will talk later."

"Really Yy!????"

"Umm"

"Are you sure?"

"Does my face look like that of a jocker?"

...Hic..hic..

"Why the fuc* are you crying? tsk forget it follow me."

Overwhelmed by the unexpected act of kindness, Aldric nodded gratefully, his eyes brimming with unshed tears. With a newfound sense of tingling fealing within him, he gathered his courage to walk beside her. Both of them disappearing into the street.
