"I did not expect you to sleep out of the house again." Mother said, raising an eyebrow at me.

"And I did not expect you to be awake as early." I said, crossing my arms over my chest. Thankfully Audrey was already in the room. I wanted her to go and get some rest since she's chose to wake up a little earlier. I did not want her to hear what her mother was going to have to say, especially since I knew that it was going to be harsh.

"I was waiting for you. Considering the fact that you did not let anyone know that you were going to sleep out of the house, you being the pack alpha and this family's boss, I think that you should." She said, crossing her arms over her chest as she challenged me. I did not say a word. I knew not to challenge her back. I knew to respect her words. Sometimes she knew that she was harsh, however, she knew that I would never respond back to her harsh manner.
