Some Final Words from Tensho

Greetings! It is I, Tensho, the man responsible for this abomination. Well, well, well, look who made it to the end of the book; congratulations are in order. So, what do you think? Did I impress? Or did I miss the mark by 32 miles? Was it up to your expectations? Or maybe I exceeded it, perhaps? Well, whatever your opinion may be, I value it all.

Thank you for reading this book. I appreciate all the attention you have given me. But like all things, it must end. Here you are, at the end of her journey. What do you think? Personally, I'm very proud of this book. I am incredibly satisfied with the end result; it was a long journey that I'm glad I took.

Anyway, some thanks are in order. To the people and projects who made this story possible. Let's talk inspiration. This book was mostly inspired by anime. Some of the biggest influences for the first part of the story are Mushoku Tensei and Yofukashi no Uta. Both of these shows are some of my all-time favorites.

Mushoku Tensei inspired the isekai-like framing of the story early on and the journey of Aine from Pauperis to Pulchra. However, as you can probably tell now, this is not an isekai; far from it. While Yofukashi no Uta inspired the nighttime factor of this story. Since that anime also takes place mostly at night.

I highly recommend both of those shows, as they are a treat to watch. A pop culture inspiration for this story would be Inception. Dreams are an integral part of this story. Next to sexual themes, dreams are probably the uniting factor in this story.

Making a story with two sides was no easy feat, so I thank all these stories that predate this one.

I would also like to thank the people who drove this story forward-the people who kept me going for the entire 200+ pages. Those would be my friends and family. No one specific; I am a bit of a stingy person myself.
