Agent A: Mission

In a modern hallway you can see a woman in a suit with black hair standing in front of the door.

[Knock knock]

A sound of the knock echoed the room,

"Come in" a woman's voice answer inside of the room.

As the woman who knocks the door come in, she saw another woman sitting in the chair.

"Do you need something from me?" The woman has black hair ask the other woman in the room.

"You got another mission" the woman sitting in the chair stand up and gave a document to the other woman

"this time, it's an easy mission. You can rest while your doing your mission Agent A" The woman who gave an document to Agent A added.

Agent A took the document from the woman and sit down. "So I'll just protect her? Who is she? Megan".

'she looks familiar'

Agent A thought to herself as she look at the picture

"Her name is Belle Thomson, She's the first daughter of the Thomson's Family, The richest company in the country. Currently her family is worried about her, so our client ask us to protect her for 5 months" Megan explain to Agent A about the background.

"Just for 5 months?" Agent A ask as she look serious to Megan

"Ill explain it to you carefully, Your mission is to protect her. Don't let your identity to be known, that's what our clients want" she command Agent A.

"She's currently in college right now, she's in business department. You'll only protect her on school grounds and your entering as a exchange student" she added. "the client want you to eliminate all danger that's targeting her, they don't care what kind of method but they don't want you to kill them. Apparently they made an enemy and they want to you to protect her for five months because at that time they probably clean the enemy."

"I see, does the college has dorm? "Agent A ask Megan as she read through the document given to her

"Fortunately, no" Megan answer her questions as she sips a cup of coffee.

"Remember, don't let your identity to be known" she added as she look seriously at Agent A.

Hearing her words, Agent A stop reading the document and look at Megan with an annoyed face.

"I know what to do, I've been doing this in my whole life" she said with a cold face, not showing any emotions.

"Whoa, whoa there. Don't be like that Arty, I was just saying don't be like that okay?" she said as she's trying to cheer Agent A up

"you know I hate that nickname" Agent A scoffed at Megan's word

"Come on, it's a cute nickname for a name of Artemis" Megan smiled at Artemis

"Cute my ass" Artemis snicker to Megan's word. "Anyway, when will I start?" Artemis ask as she stand up and fix her suit.

"On Monday, aren't you happy that you get to go to college? "Megan ask as she smirk at Artemis, teasing her Artemis forehead visibly shown a vein.

"no" Artemis answer in a cold voice, after she said that she walk towards the door and stop. She look at Megan who was still showing a teasing face, "I don't wanna talk to an idiot right now, so I'll be going now" she added with a smug look on her face and leave the room.

"What?!!" Megan's voice reach the hallway as Artemis walk in the hallway with smile on her face. As she reach towards the elevator, her face quickly turned cold, her aura feels like she's unable to approach.

Entering the elevator, Artemis push the main floor botton. As the door closing Artemis felt her stomach growling.

'sigh, shit im hungry' as Artemis thought that she searches her pocket and unfortunately she doesn't found food on her pocket.

On the main floor, An agent saw Artemis and decided to talk to her. "Good morning, Agent A" the agent happily greet Artemis.

"Good morning" Artemis emotionlessly reply to the other agent as she walk towards the food court.

"she's really cold huh" said by the other agent as he tap the agent who greet Artemis.

"Well, she's just like that but she's really nice. I sometimes envy to those who's close to Agent A, the top agent in age of 20-25 in the underground" said by the agent who greet Artemis as he look at the top charts in the pillar across from him.

"I envy her too, I hope I can go to top 1 in age 20-25 like Agent A" the other agent muttered as he look at the back of Artemis who's picking a food in the food court.

"Dream on! You have to be serious like her to be the top but question is are you serious?" the agent teasingly said to the other agent as he smack the back of the other agent.

As Artemis got her food, she suddenly felt her ears itchy. Feeling her itchy ear she scratch it with her pinky finger.

'is someone talking shit about me?' Artemis thought as she looks around.

After getting her food, Artemis decided to go underground to practice shooting. Walking in the underground, Artemis got a message on her phone. Taking the phone from her pocket she opened her phone and look at the message that she got.

[ Idiot Megan: Hey mom told me to come home and eat dinner with us since its been a while

P.S im not an idiot, you Jerk]

Reading the message she got, Artemis couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

' I guess I'll gain weight tomorrow'

She thought as she put her phone done after replying.

[Arty:okay, idiot]

Seeing the reply, Megan laugh out loud making her lose her breath. "HAHAHAHA—COUGH COUGH!!"

Megan laugh until she choke on her own, making her mother who is in the other phone scold her.

"Idiot, that's what you get for laughing so hard" Megan's mother commented on Megan's laugh as she think of what kind of daughter she got.

"its just that Art's reply is hilarious!!" Megan reply as she kept smacking her table, making the documents on her table fall due to the vibration.

"Stop messing with your sister, anyway bring some desserts since Art is coming" Megan's mom order her as she clean some veggies where you can see her on the screen.

"Boo, then I want some sushi mom" Megan demanded as she lays her head on the table.

"Sigh, stop acting like a child! Your already 28 years old!" Megan's mother scolded Megan on the phone.

[Knock knock]

A knock from the door made Megan fix her sitting posture, "I gotta go Mom" she said as she hang up on the phone and pick up the documents that fell on the table before she answer the door.

It was 6:00 pm when Artemis arrive at their house, parking the car in the garage. She entered the house and saw in the living room her adopted father and her siblings.

"Hey, Art welcome home" one of her older sister welcome her with a hug. Artemis father, William Stone who looks younger than his age walk towards her and hug her.

"Welcome home Art" said by William as let go and tap her shoulder. "I'm home" Artemis reply to her father's greetings.

Hearing the commotion in the door, the woman who looks in their mid 30's walk towards the door. Artemis notice the woman and greet her. "I'm home mom"

She said to her mom as she gave her a smile.

"welcome home hun, your right in time diners ready" Vania welcome her daughter and said to the family that diner is ready.

On the dinning table, the family are happy eating dinner together. Some of the siblings are bickering with each other and some of them laugh as they see the siblings childishly fight.

Artemis spend her weekday with her family, days pass by without trouble. Before Monday arrive, Artemis went back to her apartment.

[Ring Ring Ring Ring]

The sound of an alarm clock was stop by an hand, Artemis woke up from her sleep. Getting up from her bed, she did her morning stretches. Walking from the kitchen, Artemis prepare the ingredients to make a coffee. While the coffee is still brewing, Artemis took the ingredients in the fridge for her breakfast.

While making breakfast, Artemis got a call from Megan. Answering the phone while she cook, she asked "hey, why did you call?" she heard Megan reply "nothing just wanna check my little sister~"

Artemis hang up the call to her annoyance, putting back her phone to the counter she continued cooking her breakfast.

After eating breakfast, Artemis took a shower and went into her walk in closet. Picking out an simple black t-shirt and a knee length skirt, she gathered her hair to put a shoulder length wig hair opposite from her original hair length but same color. Walking towards the other sections, she picked up the round glasses and put in her face.

Looking at the time, it was already 6:40

' I still have an hour and 20 minutes before the class start based on the schedule that Megan send me, thinking back on it now did she just fucking pick a class without my decision?' As Artemis thought of that person, coincidentally that person called Artemis.

"what? Are you going to mess again?" Artemis ask to Megan with annoyance.

"no, I just wanna explain to you about something" Megan reply to Artemis.

"what is it?" Artemis ask as she fix her wig, "I pick your classes because it's the same as Belle Thomson's classes but don't worry the 2 other classes are different for it not raise a suspicion." Megan explained to Artemis as she look some movies on Netflex in the tv.

"What a coincidence, I just thought why the fuck did you pick the classes without my decision. Anyway bye" Not letting Megan talk, Artemis quickly hang up the phone and goes to the other sections for shoes.

Seeing the phone went back from her home page, Megan click her tongue "wow she wouldn't let me talk huh, well Arty is Arty I guess" Megan talk to herself as she look at the tv looking some movies to watch.

After finishing wearing her clothes, Artemis put on a light make up and walk towards the specific shelf. Pushing the shelf, another room was shown filled with a lot of different kind of weapons.

Picking out an Glock 19 from the shelf, she put it on her left thigh making the skirt hide the pistol. Walking towards the where the knives are , she took 2 knives. One is the Butterfly Knife and the other one is a SOG Super Bowie Knife. She put the 2 knives in her right thigh, after putting it on comfortably Artemis open the drawer and took a ballpoint.

It was already 7 in the morning that Artemis finished preparing, she left her apartment room and walk towards the elevator. Waiting for the elevator to reach her floor, a girl who seems to appear wearing a high school uniform walk towards the elevator and wait.

The girl notice Artemis and wondered if she's new in this apartment, "excuse me but did you just move here miss?" she asked to Artemis.

Artemis glance at her with her stone face look, she slightly open her mouth to answer. "no, I've been here for 3 years" she answer with monotonous voice, seeing the elevator opened with 3 people inside, Artemis enter the elevator.

The girl enter the elevator too, feeling that Artemis isn't in the mood of talking she decided to shut her mouth.

In the underground parking lot, Artemis walk towards where her car is. A black 2016 Chevrolet Corvette stingray z51 can be seen in the parking lot, unlocking the car with the car key Artemis open the passenger door and put her bag in the passenger seat.

Closing the door, Artemis walk towards the drivers seat. Open the door and sit, before starting the car Artemis took her phone and call Megan.

"hey" Artemis spoke in a monotonous voice, "do you need something Art?" Megan ask while busy preparing food.

"can you buy another bookshelf for me? Just place it on the living room." Artemis look at her watch and it was already 7:06.

"Oh, Okay I assume you want black right? I'll buy it later" Megan respond to Artemis. "okay thanks" Artemis shown a light smile before hanging up, putting the phone inside the cup holder. Artemis start the car and drove to school, before heading to school Artemis stopped by at the café shop and ordered a cappuccino.

At the entrance of school, the guard look at Artemis and ask "you, what's your purpose here? I didn't see your face here since the beginning of the school" the guard lowered his upper body to see Artemis face. Being bothered of explaining, Artemis took out her wallet and shown the badge given by the clients indicating to the school that she will be the secret bodyguard of Miss Belle Thomson.

The father of Belle Thomson, Reynard Thompson already informed the school that there will be somebody going in school disguising to be a student and will be Belle's bodyguard. And he also informed the school that bodyguard is going to bring weapon, Thomson's family also donated half a million to the school for the principal to agree. After the negotiation, the principal informed all of the staff members about Belle's Bodyguard

Seeing the badge, the guard felt fear thinking that he's been rude to her and he might get fired from his job. "P-please get in" he nervously said to Artemis as he give a nervous smile and sweat forming on his forehead. Artemis didn't pay attention to his expression as she put her wallet back on her pocket and drove of to the parking lot.

"I didn't know that the bodyguard was a woman" the guard muttered to himself as he scratched his head.

After parking in the parking lot, Artemis got out of the car, take her coffee and walk to the passenger seat. She opened the passenger seat and took her bag, closing the passenger door she look at the school building.

Plenty of students already walking towards the building with their friends, some are parking their cars and some are walking towards the gate.

"I guess college life begins now" Artemis muttered to herself as she rolled her eyes.
