A Wolverine's Journey to Salvation

[Narrator POV]

[Year: 2008]: M.G.R.F.J (Metahuman Genetic Research Facility of Japan)

Multiple rooms can be seen with computer screen showing the vitals, skeletons, heart rates etc.... of several subjects who were forcibly taken into the facility for testing in order for researchers to create metahumans in an unnatural way much to some reluctance in some of their staff but they have families to feed at home so all they can do is pity those who end up in here.

Two of those unfortune individuals who happened to stumble into this place are currently inside a cell that has no windows and no bars but there is a camera in the high left corner watching their every movement.

Why are they important? Because they are expecting a child in the next nine months and it has been a few weeks since they obtained their 'powers'.

Yanagi and Tamura Sadao were an ordinary couple living out their own lives in a large apartment until one faithful day when multiple men wearing masks and suits that contain several equipment such as guns, knifes, and grenades that were used to knock them out cold.

A unknown amount of time had past and they had woken up restrained to tables with gowns on similar to that of a hospital patient along with shock collars on their necks and ever since it has been a life filled with torture and experimentation.

Yanagi Sadao can be described as being a mature looking man with black hair along with a facial scar on his chin he got from a zoo accident when he was a child. He has a lean build since he was a practitioner of boxing and karate. His wife Tamura has dark-blue hair and blue eyes and like her husband, she was active in sports during her childhood but not on a competitive level but just enough for her to stay in shape.

Yanagi's powers are that of an animal as he can retract his own teeth which is akin to a big cat's, which are much larger than a normal human's canine teeth and claws from his finger nails. Although with these powers, it had a psychological affect on his mentality causing him to act out occasionally in a feral manner whenever the scientists arrive to experiment on him and his wife.

Speaking of his wife, during the extensive experiments involving suffocation and being continuously stabbed in places where the needles wouldn't puncture her major organs, she eventually gained an ability where her wounds would heal at a rapid rate which is basically a pseudo-healing factor as a result of the various injections she and her husband would receive from the ones responsible for their predicament.

The injections from what the couple heard were from the DNA of those heroes who donated via a blood drive to help those who needed a specific blood-type to save their lives but it was all a cover-up to what they really intended to do with the blood.

Yanagi can be seen hiding in the corner of the cell with his head and arms covered between his legs because he feels immense guilt since he found out that Tamura has gotten pregnant because the scientists in the facility did weekly test on everyone who was taken captive here.

"What have I done?" In hoarse voice, he feels entirely responsible since he lost control of himself weeks prior due to his animalistic tenacities as a result of his abilities and he forced himself onto his wife who at first resisted since she didn't know what was wrong with him and they talked about having kids before ending up in this facility. And the scientists never did anything about it since they're basically lab-rats and the cell was sound-proof and they did the deed much to his horror when he found out when he came back to his senses.

It took Tamura a few days to recover from the event but she quickly forgave him since it wasn't his fault for the way he acted as she blamed those who came everyday to experiment on them for reasons unknown to them.

"It's alright dear, you didn't mean to although I didn't think you would be so dominant~" Attempting to brighten the mood in their predicament, Tamura teases Yanagi by hugging him from behind which seems to work as he blushes slightly.

"B...But I did something without your consent!? But can you be so calm about this?!" He wonders what could be the reason for her to be so calm in this situation.

"Well to answer your question? I blame those who put us in this shithole and it's worse for the fact that no matter how much we try, we can't seem to take off these damn collars without getting shocked nearly to death. Plus, they put us through much worse compared to what happened." Answering his question with a stern tone but ending it with a slightly sadden one, she gets off his back and heads off to the bed since they just got done being experimented on for the day.

Since it was revealed that she was pregnant, the scientists somehow had been kind enough to ease off a bit on the experiments on her but they performed procedures nonetheless and she could've sworn that she saw the looks of greed in their eyes during the experiments and she needs to do something before they take her unborn child away from her.

Though their true motives for doing this was because her child was going to be the first true metahuman born as a result of two humans being forcibly turned into metahumans making him a new breed of metahuman that will most likely become vastly stronger than an average metahuman when he or she fully grows up.

She would also get looks of pity from the other captives who in which some have gained abilities of their own due to different conditions in terms of the tortuous methods they went through similarly to her and Yanagi.

Nine Months Later.....

"ARGAAAHHH!!!" While screaming in agony due to the birthing process, Tamura is seen laying in a medical bed with several scientists who can be seen wearing hazmat suits surrounding her with some supporting her during the contractions but she knows they have an agenda for her child and she can't do anything to stop it from happening.

What seemed like a couple minutes have past, Tamura collapses onto the bed with a strained breath as a baby can be heard crying loudly and she looks to see one of those individuals who was responsible for her experimentation and she is presently too weak to even make a glare towards that man.

The man in question transferred to this facility from the US a few years ago and he is known for being a covert operations specialist and a military scientist. In secret, he despises metahuman with a purpose knowing that if he wanted to completely get rid of them. He would have to create metahumans of his own, and seeing the baby within his arms was perfect for his agenda as he plans to turn who was now revealed to be a boy into a killing machine in the near future.
