A Place Where I Belong (Fairy Tail x Naruto)

It was certainly soothing, to lean on the deck and felt the breeze of the wind, the eyes stared only at the endless sky and horizon, the sound of laughing from the nearest sailors, full of life and boisterous.

Sasuke Uchiha... a great name, coming from a great clan, but it's no longer matter now as he had no home. Konohagakure, the place of memories where the love and the hatred remained, now he left it behind, was no longer accepted due to his upbringing. He didn't blame them, honestly, he knew his action and willing to take responsibility, it was already good that he wasn't executed after the war, courtesy of his friends plead.

"When I become Hokage, I promise I will bring you back..." Sasuke mumbled, reminiscing the words that the idiot said, he would always never leave him alone was he?

Sasuke tilted his head down, looking at the other passenger who played on the deck, several children seemed to play tag, two business-looking men chatted over a glass of wine, a family of three was standing in front of the rail guard, the father had his son sat on his shoulder and the mother depended on him slightly, the conversation they had is seemed to be cheerful.

Sasuke thought to himself, how long had it been since his family died? It felt like he almost forgot the warmth they were once brought, living long enough in darkness certainly seeped your heart with coldness, and it got frozen slowly, to the point he almost felt nothing but hatred, sought for revenge.

In the end, what was the result of it? What was the result for him?

"Ah!" Sasuke heard a yelp not far from his position, one of the boys who was playing tag had stumbled onto the floor, hurting his knee and face in the process, of course, he was sobbing, and then started crying, his position was quite close with him, immediately several eyes were looking at his direction.

He couldn't help but feel awkward, how should he handle this situation? Should he just cast genjutsu on the kid? No, are you crazy?

Thankfully, a young woman ran over and hurriedly picked up the boy from the ground, caressing his back and saying some sweet words toward the boy. The cries ceased bit by bit, finally turned into a weep, then completely disappeared, the boy now once again joined his peer to play the tag.

Sasuke secretly sighed in relief, then once again looked toward the sea, there was an outline of the ship destination, a port, supposedly a Town called Hargeon. His journey had brought him this far, although his deed in the war had cleared up some of his crime, it was not necessarily acceptable for some people, there were those who sought of revenge, he had killed quite a lot after all. So, Sasuke just kept walking, moving from city to city, town to town, land to land, finally, here he was, long way from home.

Upon arrival, he still had no direction to where he should go, he had some money to exchange with this country's currency, but he eventually had to find a job to make a sustainable living.

Sasuke had a talk with some people on the ship before that this place called Earthland was a place of magic, and the people who practiced them was called a mage, wizard, or witch, and there were four types of mage; the mage who joined an association called a Mage Guild, a mage who worked for the government, a mage who joined a criminal organization called a Dark Guild, and a mage who joined or worked to no one.

Should he join a Mage Guild? He heard what they did, doing some sort of tasks and mission for other people, not much different from how the villages back on his land worked.

"Kyaa, a famous mage in the town~"

As Sasuke wandered aimlessly in the town, he soon caught several women were running in a hurry, and there was a crowd of women surrounding a man, he was tall, his hair styled to the left, and wearing a sort of robe. His age seemingly in the late 20s. But what fixed Sasuke's attention to the man was the energy cloaking him, what's up with that? Was it Genjutsu? No, that term did not apply here, Magic then? Did this guy use Magic to attract these girls?

Then if so, what's his intention? Prank? For amusement? Have fun? Or more for the sinister side?

The old him would not care for whatever this person's business was, even if he meant bad for those girls, but he couldn't just let this go now, across the land before he got into the ship, Sasuke also had helped a lot of people with the best he could, he got more gratitude than he ever bargained for, some of the people wanted him to marry their daughter even.

"Well, there is always a place for anyone, but even if you find good land and nice girl to marry, Konoha will never forget their hero..." Sasuke remembered what Kakashi said before they were leaving, he also told him to marry many girls and build up his clan again, he could only stare at that guy with bored eyes afterward.

Building his clan... he never really thought about it, it was only fitting as the last of his clan to rebuild his family, continued to prosper the Sharingan, perhaps it also applied to that idiot, but at least he still had Karin as the distant relative.

Anyway, if he really planned for something awful, then Sasuke had to stop him.

His appearance wasn't bad, and if he was powerful, there was no need for him to use Magic to charm these women, and they were seemingly called him with 'Salamander', was it that mean? His nickname? He was pretty famous then? It became less and less sense for this guy to use this charm Magic simply for fun.

"Ignel!!!"

There was a young man, one or two years younger than him, slipped into the crowd to approach Salamander, but he was soon thrown out from the circle, looked pretty miserable, but it didn't seem discourage at all, not a fan? He mistook this Salamander who other people? Or this Salamander was not the Salamander he looked for?

Afterward, Salamander rode a flame and flew away from his fans, once again announce there would be a party in his ship.

Sasuke glanced at the pink-haired man on the ground, then he took off to chase after Salamander.

This Salamander walked from one spot to one spot, and everywhere he went, a group of women would immediately gather, eventually, he arrived at the harbor and climbed into his ship, Sasuke waited at the outside for about an hour before Salamander came out again. Then, Sasuke snatched one of the crew and used his Sharingan to collect some information from him.

He finally knew the truth, that guy was not Salamander, his real name was Bora of Prominence, he was banished from a Mage Guild years ago and now he joined Slavery operation, this means the ship was a Slaver Ship and these girls were a candidate for a slave. Then Sasuke didn't need to hesitate, first, he sneaked inside the ship and took care of the crew, then waited until Bora returned and caught him together.

Most of these people were just motley pirate, not even worth his effort, Sasuke even found several cages below the deck, slave branding tools, whip, all the other tortures instrument, also several shady drugs.

He put these slavers inside the cages and waited for Bora in the ship's quarter, he actually came back with several women, the moment he saw there was only Sasuke on the ship, Bora was instantly shocked, pointing his finger and started screaming.

"Who are you?! What are you doing on my ship?!"

"You are a Slaver, I am here to stop your operation."

"I don't know what are you talking about, called the town's guards, there is a mysterious person on my ship!"

Although he tried to deny it, the panic and fear in his eyes were the clear evidence, some girls began to rouse their suspicion on him, but neither was actually moved to escape, just standing there to watch the situation unfold.

"Where are my crew? Why no one is here?!"

Bora glanced right and left in fear, he realized there was no one else but Sasuke, him, and the girls.

"They are below deck, hurdling in your cages." Sasuke calmly said, and the creepy purple eyes stared at Bora with threatening seriousness.

"You are going to pay for what you have done with my people!"

In a roar, Bora waved his hand and pushed his palm, a group of flame suddenly rushed toward Sasuke.

"Too slow," Sasuke dodged to the side and ran toward him, in fear, Bora began to retreat, screaming to him to not take another step.

He shot another flame, but of course, it missed again, Sasuke punched him in the stomach, then did a roundhouse kick toward his face, knocking the man to the deck of his own ship.

"Escape now, go home," Sasuke said toward the girls, and they did run with a scream, except a woman with blonde hair, she was wearing a black garment that barely covered her upper part, her eyes stared at him while blinking several times.

Sasuke looked at her, he did remember that she was among the group that afternoon.

"Is it right? Is he a Slaver? Not a real Salamander?" the girl with blonde hair said.

"Yes."

At this time, Bora stood up from the ground, with a bumpy cheek, he wanted to turn and jumped off the ship, regardless of succeeded or not, he had to escape!

"Wait-"

"Wait!!!"

As the blondie's words were swallowed by a deafening roar from the sky, the three people glanced upward and saw a flying cat(?) carried a pink-haired man, his face seemed in undoubted wrath.

"Ah, it's Natsu and Happy!" the blonde exclaimed.

Whether which one was Happy or which one was Natsu, the cat dropped the man onto the ship, with serious eyes, he stared at Sasuke and then at Bora,

"Who between the two of you claim to be Fairy Tail's mage?" Natsu said with an indifferent tone.

Fairy Tail's mage? Was it a name of a Mage Guild? Sasuke thought for a while.

"He... he is!!!" in an instant, Bora extended his hand and pointed his trembling finger toward Sasuke.

Even a fool should know, judging from the exaggerated cold sweat and pallid face, who was the pretender here. But the pink-haired man... seemingly more a fool than a fool.

"If you want to join the guild, then we are willing to accept, but by using the guild's name to do whatever you want to do, I will not stand idle and watch you ruin my family..." with that said, the pink-haired man took a deep breath, his cheeks puffed out and suddenly...
