A group of dreams

I watch Reckoning pull out some type of chip out of the control panel. Stuffing it in her purse.

"Wondering what that was?" Reckoning asks me.

"Yeah." I answer.

"Well, it is the code for what you wanted him to think. Right now, instead of believing in your dreams, he believes in following you no matter what happens. I made it that way. You're welcome. Also, if you're wondering, he does keep his personality, and he'll think the same way as before, but in his mind, he will always follow you."

"I don't wish to control people like that."

"Either way, you are controlling him boss, it's just slightly different, and that slight difference will be incredibly helpful."

"Whatever."

I walk outside of the room and enter the room Zacks in.

My eyes connect to the body on the floor, and then they quickly go to Zack.

"Akuji... boss, I mean. What do you need?" Zack asks.

"You can just call me Akuji, and what do I need from you? Well, I suppose I need you to get some fresh air, walk outside and enjoy it." I say, sincerely.

"Seriously? The scientists from before never let me go anywhere, without them watching me, of course, even in the bathroom."

My eyes shot up when he said that last part. Of course, he doesn't see this, though, because of my mask.

"Of course you can. You can do whatever you want, until I need your assistance." I tell him. I'm wondering why the scientists would do such a thing to a human being.

I motion with my hand, telling him to come on. He steps off the table and into a pool of blood.

"Oh my God, Walter!" He yells. Looking down at Walter, dead on the floor.

"Come on. Don't look at the body." I demand him.

He looks at me with a questioning look. Then he quickly follows me.

While we walk down the hallway, I notice the sad look on his face.

"Lisson. You will see a lot of death, and I mean a lot, when you join this group. If you caint handle it, then I can replace you." I say to him, giving him a side ways glance.

"I can handle it. It's just that he was my friend." Zack barely manages to say without breaking down.

"Well, sometimes we have to kill or even betray friends. It's just how the world works, Zack."

"Have you betrayed anybody?"

"Oh, multiple people, Zack, but I didn't do it without a purpose, I betrayed them because I believe in my dreams. Zack, I'm not telling you to go around killing and betraying everyone, I'm just saying that you should kill and betray people when you believe in your own dreams, your own purposes. That's what it means to have a dream, when you would do anything to fulfill them."

"And you would do anything to fulfill your own dreams?"

"Yes... Anything."

Looking closely at his eyes, they seem to have lightened up a bit.

We reach the entry to the laboratory. Opening the door, I motion for Zack to walk out.

"Come back here by 10:00. We will shut the dome after that time, so make sure to be here before then." I tell him.

"Okay. simple enough." He says in a genuinely happy voice.

He must have been in there for a long time. This is just awful, truly awful.

I turn around. Letting the door shut by itself, but before it shuts, I hear a huge crash. Quickly, I turn around, slamming the door open.

I walk to the first step. watching as dust clears out. I notice the person who has cause this racket, standing in the middle of all the piled up dust. It's a local hero by the name of...

"I'm Blastoy! I've been waiting for you villains to leave the dome open, now that you have your reign of terror is over!" This hero yells almost at the top of his lungs.

"I'm not a villain." I say

Quickly, I reach for the gun in my pocket, pulling it out and firing it at him. I fire five shots, and all five shots it him in his waist, but they don't affect him one bit.

"A gun." Blastoy says, laughing.

He holds out his left hand, his palm aiming right at me. Blastoy shoots out a red beam of energy. Quickly, I hold out my right arm. When the beam makes contact with my hand, I feel an incredible sensation of pain, but after a second, I completely break the beam of enegery.

Looking at my hand. Burn marks are everywhere, and my hand is bright red.

"Impressive villain, but can you manage another one." Blastoy says, in complete confidence.

Before he can even gather the enegery in his palm, Blastoy is covered in ice. Ice covers the left side of his body. I look to his left, seeing a person I don't recognize.

She has white hair that comes down to the middle of her spine. Her eyes are the same color as the ice, blue. This woman is extremely beautiful.

"Hurry and do something to him, I caint hold the ice for long." The women yells.

I quickly gain my barengs and run towards Blastoy. Reaching him, I grab his arms in each of my hands. I hear a terrible snap. Blastoy tries to scream, but this woman is smart and covered his whole mouth instead of half of it.

When I let go of his arms, the ice breaks completely. Blastoy falls to his knees, his arms dangling at his side.

"You- you broke my arms! you bastard!!" Blastoy screams.

"You tried to attack me and the boss. That's what you get." I look over to see Zack standing there, right beside me.

"Where did you go?" I ask Zack.

"I've been here the whole time."

"How have- oh yeah, your ability."

"Correct. I was the woman. Fun fact that woman was my last girlfriend. Sadly, she wasn't too loyal, though."

"What is wrong with you people!" Blastoy screams.

I hear doors slam open behind me. I turn my head to see the others running down the stairs.

They all run up close. looking at both Blastoy and Zack.

"Who is he?" Katelyn asks, pointing at Blastoy.

"And who is he?" Lizy says, staring at Zack.

I get everyones attention. "Okay everyone lisson close because I'm only going to say this once. This here is Blastoy, the local hero. He was waiting for the dome to open so he could attack us. He failed."

Holding my hand out towards Zack.

"This is Zack, He is a new member of Perfect World."

"Another new member. They are dropping in like flys." Katelyn adds

"Well, for a while, he'll be the last one." I say.

"What are we going to do with him?" Reckoning asks, pointing at Balstoy.

"Well, I guess he's a prisoner." I say, shrugging.

The look on Blastoy's face is one of pure terror.
