Chapter 11

"They are with your sister." he said as he smiled. "I wasn't going to bring them into a situation I didn't know what was going on."

"Thank you." she said.

"For?" he asked.

"Coming." she said.

"I will always come when you call, Mouse." he said.

"This is still new to me. I have never had someone else to rely on." she said with a sigh.

"I get that, my love." he said softly as he brushed her hair out of her face. "It looks like they are going to want to take the car."

"Wonderful." she said.

"Look I don't want you and the kids at your house tonight." he said softly.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because this was a sign of things to come." he said. "Come to my house. I have more than enough room, and they don't know about me."

"Mitsuhide I do not want to give in to them." she said.

"Fine. But give in to me instead." he said with a soft smile. "I don't want you or the kids to get hurt."

"Okay." she said. "You're right."
