A Book Of Skills

Sitting down in my chair I watched customers go in and out of my little store without interest in any of it's products. Sighing I just wished I could have had a successful shop somewhere in the world. It didn't need to be a big or diverse shop. I just wanted a minorly successful one. Then maybe I could have saved my sister, or maybe even my mother.

Looking next door to my house at the graveyard a gave a small sorrow filled laugh. If only it had been so. That's when I heard a noise. Looking over at the grave yard I saw a boy stomping around on the graves and laughing with his white muddy shirt on. Getting up ready to teach the boy a lesson I turned around and turned back only to find the boy was gone, and in his place a book remained.

Sighing I just walked over over and picked the book up keeping an eye on my store so no one stole from me. Thankfully I had a couple employees keeping things steady inside. Wiping the dust off of the book I noticed something odd about it. Their was a hand print on it with the number 1.

Wiping the dirt off I watched as it seemed almost infinite, stopping I walked back over to my shop and chair, and sit down once more. Putting the book down on the mahogany table next to my chair I looked into the shop and seen the wall of past generations. My father, his father, his father, and his fathers all stood straight in a wonderful line of livelihood. And looking at my Grandfather Dipper Pines I couldn't help but look at the man in wonder. He was the man our family was saved by, I only just wished I knew what.

The book started changing. The book once covered in dirt was now covered in blood. The book of mysteries had finally awakened. So with an eye the appeared on the book a drop of blood fell from the eye and fell off the book hitting the floor where something started to change. With that I fell screaming as the portal of some kind sucked me in.

Next door a kid started laughing once more as the mud on him to changed into a bloodied form then his head took the shape of a triangle that slowly disconnected from the body that had just been used. With a thump the body fell down and a triangle was now standing on its own two legs. With a distorted higher pitched male voice a laugh ensued. "Finally, I have had my revenge. You Pines have finally been ended. Now I dare to see you back in my world of dominion. I wonder, maybe I should go back to the Egyptians and help them regain their past glory, or maybe I should just end the world. Still ending a world's a lot of effort, and I just got my freedom. Maybe I should do it in a couple of years. I no longer have any obstacles to worry about.

Unseen by all the book once more changed out of sight of the triangle named Bill Cipher into a blue form as it sucked in the energy of the portal. Unknowingly for all parties involved a new being was born. One that is even more powerful the Bill. It is known as the Book of Skills, or Skills for short an entity that can turn ones life into a video game.
