The more Daisy won, the more people started expecting from her but it was also the more people wanted to see her crash and burn but Daisy couldn’t let that happen because she didn’t want to let down her coach, her teammates or her mother. The pressure to stay on top and to always be the best was weighing more and more on Daisy each day and she knew she was coming closer and closer to breaking. It was for this reason why Daisy often envied her younger sister. Dana did not dance but she was in cheerleading but not because she had to be the best for anyone but because she liked parading around in a short skirt and she liked the gymnastics. Dana did things for herself on her own time, something Daisy could never do.
