Nina Jansen had a radio. During her free moments at work, she could listen to music, and she often tuned into a local Cape Town music station.

Medusa might not have been right beside the radio; the bug on her transmitted sounds continuously, but they were merely noises of movement. Hence, transmitting the code signal was an issue of when Medusa would hear it, which is why the code signal had to be kept running.

While listening to the music on the radio, Gao Yang suddenly said, "I like Metallic, and I also like 'Fade to Black,' but, 'fading to black,' this song's meaning is rather ominous."

Ryan shrugged and said, "No choice, Medusa likes this song."

After nearly seven minutes of the song, there was still no response from Medusa, only the sound of her cleaning and moving about. However, there was no sound of the radio on her end.
