5 Wishes To Reach The Apex

Darkness.....

It was the only thing I could see around me, no signs of life or anything like that. It was almost as if this was a place meant for people to rot away alone. I attempted to move my body but I quickly understood that this was no longer a possibility as I no longer had a body to move. You're wondering how I'm able to see if I have no eyes but that's a question I can't even answer myself, what felt like days had gone past in this dark space gave me time to think about my past life on earth and ponder on things I should've done differently.

In my Past life on Earth I died at 36 years old as one of the most well known and feared businessman in the world and my name was Derrick West. Throughout all my school years I always graduated at the top of the class along with my twin brother who was always in second. School was to easy for us and eventually the school system realized that they were holding us back and could no longer teach us anything that we hadn't already learned . Our mom had worked 2 jobs in order to keep our bills paid so we can stay in our apartment we had lived in since the day we were born, and for that I respected and vowed to become someone who could provide our family with anything we ever wanted. I promised this to my family, so everyday I studied, studied, and repeated it everyday along with my twin brother Derrion. Surprising the world with how smart we were we graduated high school at the age of 14 and graduated at the top of our classes in Harvard at 17. We were getting closer to the promise we made to our mother and eventually everything would pay off, looking back at it now I really wish I would've made a few friends when I was still young as the only person I could truly call my friend was my brother.

At the age of 23 me as well as my brother ran one of the largest companies on Earth, West Industries. During our time attending Harvard my brother came to know a young man named Phillip who so happened to have a very rich background. Realizing this was a chance to build a connection with someone influential we initiated multiple conversations with him and eventually built a solid connection with Phillip. When we graduated Harvard we immediately asked him for some money to build a company that we promised would bring great results, but he wasn't dumb and so after a long discussion and a few talks with his father we got the money needed to start. Our rise in power quickly grew and with the power of his background we were able to make connections with other influential people who also decided it was a good idea to join our rise in power.

13 years later...

Today is me as well as my brother's birthday and today we're hosting a big party at my mother's mansion that I bought for her. We kept our promise to her and that was the only thing we ever wanted in life, and with that being done everything else was just simply business. Eventually after chatting with all the people who came to the party it was time for me and my brother to blow out our candles.

I was so happy to be with my brother who I worked so hard with these 36 years and my mother who I so dearly loved and respected since the day I was born. But then again.... All things come to an end!

Without anyone noticing a group of geared up men dressed in black broke through the door and shot everyone. I was shot in my heart and as chaos broke out around me I slowly drifted away without knowing what happened to my family. With that my story ends and knowing that seeing them again is impossible makes me want to break down and cry, but I know my brother and mother would never want to see me in such a sorry state so I forbid myself from doing so. Time passes and all I've done these past few years or so it seems like is just thinking.

Then suddenly a white light appears above me along with a giant hand that emits great white light and grabs me pulling me up. After a while of being dazed I notice that in front of me stands a old man with White hair, a long white beard, and quite possibly his greatest feature his golden colored eyes.

" It's great to see you've gotten over all of that hatred and other negative emotions within yourself during your time in purgatory." - Old man

" ..... Are you god? or some other powerful being? and if you are then is it possible that you could tell me what happened to my brother and mother after I died?" -Derrick

"I am what your race calls god and yes I can tell you what happened after you died but only if you promise me one thing" -God

"I'll do anything as long as I can know if my family is ok" - Derrick

" Then I want you to promise me in your next life that you'll live it happily worried free from your past life. In return I'll also grant you 5 wishes that will accompany you throughout your journey in the next world." -God

"As long as I know what happened then I'll no longer have any regrets" Derrick

" Alright, your mother and brother are.....
