Cristina Yang was born under a rare celestial phenomenon—a night when the moon glowed with an icy blue hue. She was abandoned by her parents at the hospital, no one knows who her parents are, or where they went.
She was eventually sent to an overcrowded orphanage where life proved to be unkind. Cristina's strikingly beautiful features made her the target of envy and scorn among the other children.
They mocked her relentlessly, isolating her and reinforcing a deep sense of loneliness. Timid and withdrawn, Cristina found solace in the quiet corners of the orphanage library, where she immersed herself in tales of magic and adventure.
At the age of eight, strange things began to happen around her. On especially emotional days, the air around her would chill, and objects would frost over when she touched them. The orphanage matron dismissed it as coincidence, but the other children whispered that she was cursed. Fearing further alienation, Cristina hid her growing powers, practicing only in secret.
When she turned 15, she left the orphanage to attend the prestigious school, The Academy of the Sacred Hunt. There she met the main character Reed, he was the first person who approached her.
Slowly but surely, they become friends. One fateful night, while hanging out with Reed, they were suddenly attacked by Goblins. Reed despite knowing that Cristina can handle them on her own, he couldn't pass on the opportunity of scoring some good points.
That night, Cristina fell in love with him. Despite Reed being average in everything, she believed that he was the best person in the whole world.
When more and more girls fell in love with him, though she felt hurt, she stayed. As she believes that he loves her the most.
Okay I too think she's way too easy, but my poor baby only has been bullied for all her life. If someone suddenly appeared in your lonely life, being there for you, protecting you. Won't you fall in love too?
But now that I'm here, I won't let my daughter be bullied, she won't even lose a strand of her hair.

Harmonia Orphanage
Standing in front of the orphanage, I mentally prepared myself for everything that might happen.
"Okay.. check, check. I'm all set!" Entering the orphanage with determined steps, I saw many children, babies, and some matrons. 'Oh, looks like I'm not the only one looking for adoption.'
Approaching an unoccupied matron, I started inquiring about the adoption process and I would like to look around searching for the destined one.
While walking down the corridor, the matron brought up random topics. "Oh, but aren't you too young to adopt a child Ms. Bellus? Are you sure you want to adopt a child? You're basically limiting your freedom ma'am."
Of course, I know that. "Yes, I am aware of the consequences of raising a child."
The matron as if waiting for that answer, issued another question.
"Then, if I'm not being rude Ms. Bellus. Even though you know the consequences, why do you still want to adopt a child?" The matron said.
She must have been worried that I'll neglect Crissy, 'huh.. there were nice people in this orphanage'. Still, I need to reassure her that I'll never do what she thinks I'll do.
"It is my lifelong wish to become a mother (specifically Crissy's mother), and now that I can afford to raise a child, rest assured that the child will be safe with me."
Stopping to catch my breath, I started talking again.
"All children deserve parents or a parent to lean on, oh but I'm not condemning orphanages. Certainly not, my point is that the orphanage has too many children, and matrons and caretakers, can't focus on a single child." GOSH WHAT AM I SAYING! Okay diffuse the situation, you can do this self!
"Anyway, do rest assured ma'am. Though I'm a hunter, I'm a support. I don't have to participate in the frontline, nor will I allow myself to get hurt." I absolutely cannot! What will happen to my baby Crissy if I die? She'll be orphaned!
The matron smiled as if satisfied by my answer, and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Then, I'm counting on you Ms. Bellus."

Matron's POV
I have been working on the orphanage for a long time, I saw the children's faces go from pure joy, to pure despair when they get adopted.
Why am I saying this you ask? Well, that is because of the person walking beside me right now, Serena Bellus. She's known by everybody, a young and talented hunter.
But precisely because of that, I'm worried for the child she'll adopt. Talented people are, let's just say. They are ignorant. They expect everyone to be just as talented as them or think that everybody is below them.
But looking at the hunter in front of me, I think she's the former. Precisely because of that, I am hesitant to allow her to adopt a child. I don't even know what her reasons are for adopting a child, I should ask her.
"Oh, but aren't you too young to adopt a child Ms. Bellus? Are you sure you want to adopt a child? You're basically limiting your freedom ma'am." There the landmine, I know this might've been rude but I couldn't careless if it's about the safety of the children.
Looking as if she expected it, she answered me smoothly "Yes, I am aware of the consequences of raising a child." There! She bit the bait.
"Then, if I'm not being rude Ms. Bellus. Even though you know the consequences, why do you still want to adopt a child?" Now, I'm curious about what you'll answer.
"It is my lifelong wish to become a mother, and now that I can afford to raise a child, rest assured that the child will be safe with me." A good answer, but I have heard that countless times before.
"All children deserve parents or a parent to lean on, oh but I'm not condemning orphanages. Certainly not, my point is that the orphanage has too many children, and matrons and caretakers, can't focus on a single child." She said the first part, resignedly. Ah, now that I think about it. She was sent to the battlefield as soon as her parents found out she had some talents.
I see, for her the children here are just like her. Abandoned, and betrayed by the world.
But just like kids, she views things naively. Beautiful, full of love, and hope. Though I already interacted with people like this, it never gets old.
"Anyway, do rest assured ma'am. Though I'm a hunter, I'm a support. I don't have to participate in the frontline, nor will I allow myself to get hurt." Heh, what was I so worried for? This girl, will make the child/s she'll adopt the happiest kid on Elaris.
Placing my hand on her shoulder to show my support, "Then, I'm counting on you Ms. Bellus." I hope that your life will be filled with happiness.n
