A throbbing headache woke Celine from her sleep and her palms also hurt, it was just like they had been sealed with hot iron. Her eyes lit up in fright and she wondered what had happened to her.

She tried to match together the memories from yesterday which seemed like a puzzle she could never solve.

She heard footsteps and when she raised her head, she saw Dominic. His expression was stoic; he had no smile on and neither was he wearing a frown. He was still baffled about yesterday. He knew the humans from the green pearl clan possessed powers but Celine's was just so extraordinary.

Dominic stood in front of her, some steps away from the bed, his arms folded ans his eyes fixed intently on Celine who kept looking at him, her face flushed with confusion.
