Origins

As he opened his eyes, Daimon sat up and scanned his surroundings, recalling the last words of the mysterious voice that had guided him: "Now I want to see how you will live your life when you have the potential to be the most powerful person in the galaxy."

His gaze dropped to his hands, which now boasted a striking purple skin tone, a reminder of his new identity. Moments later, a ton of information surged into his mind, reshaping his understanding of who he was. His primary species was Gen'Dai, a fact easily recognizable to others. However, he also carried the genetic heritage of numerous other species, each contributing unique abilities that enhanced his already formidable capabilities.

As a Gen'Dai, his body was composed of regenerative tentacles, granting him rapid healing abilities that made him nearly indestructible. He realized that, while he could withstand grievous injuries, a direct blow to his head could still prove fatal, particularly if it severed the core nerves in his neck. The implications of his longevity struck him; Gen'Dai could live for several millennia, so long as they avoided death.

A/N: This is stated in a future chapter but I also want to put it here. While he is a Gen'Dai his appearence alongside the rest of his species, closely resemble Thanos and the Titan species. He does not have the shrek appearence that the Gen'Dai have on the lore page.

From the Keshian lineage, he inherited the remarkable ability to perceive a broad spectrum of radiation through his eyes, a skill that could be invaluable in detecting hidden dangers. The Kiffar blood in him allowed him to touch objects and glean memories, known as psychometry, a powerful asset for uncovering truths long buried. Additionally, the Zeltron influence endowed him with the ability to emit pheromones that enhanced his attractiveness and charm, making it easier to sway others to his cause.

Next, memories flooded back, revealing how he ended up in this extraordinary situation. He had once lived a simple life in a small village on Veldari, his homeworld, when a Jedi ship descended from the stars. The Jedi sought a Force-sensitive individual, guided by a sense of destiny that had eluded them for centuries. They had visited Drathor repeatedly, yet each time left empty-handed, deeming the Gen'Dai incapable of producing Force-sensitives.

This time, however, the Force had led them directly to him. Surrounded by robed figures, each radiating authority and wisdom, Daimon felt an unsettling mix of awe and anxiety. The tension hung thick in the air as the Jedi assessed him, their eyes reflecting both curiosity and caution.

The village elder, a two-thousand-year-old Gen'Dai, stepped forward, fully aware of the Jedi's intent. Speaking in a calm, low voice, he addressed them with a knowledge borne of experience. "You seek the one you have come for," he said, gesturing subtly toward Daimon.

The elder had always sensed that Daimon was destined for greatness, perhaps as a leader or a champion, rather than a life confined to their humble village. The elder had nurtured Daimon since his parents abandoned him for a more affluent life, leaving him behind for reasons that remained a mystery. This act had ignited a fierce dislike in the elder, prompting him to adopt the boy as his own.

Over the years, he had come to believe in Daimon's potential, feeling it resonate deeply within him. Yet, as these thoughts coursed through his mind, Daimon sensed an external influence, an unseen force guiding him, shaping his narrative even as he struggled to find his own path.

The Jedi listened intently, their nods signaling comprehension as the elder shared Daimon's story. Slowly, the unease that had initially gripped him began to dissolve, replaced by curiosity and wonder.

One might think the elder possessed the ability to foresee the future, given his profound insights about destiny, but this was not the case.

Then, the eldest Jedi stepped forward, extending a hand toward Daimon. He flinched slightly, instinctively wary of the unknown. "Fear not," the Jedi said in a soothing voice. "We mean you no harm."

The Jedi was tall and slender, his silver hair cascading down his shoulders, a testament to his age yet accompanied by eyes brimming with vitality. "We are here," he continued, "to help you understand your potential."

"You are special, Daimon," he whispered. "Your destiny is not tied to this village or this planet." He gestured expansively around them, showing the humble homes and fertile fields of the village. "You are destined for so much more."

With those words resonating in his mind, Daimon departed with the Jedi, leaving behind the only life he had ever known.

As they ascended into the star-speckled sky, Daimon cast a final glance at his home. The view from above was breathtaking, little huts clustered together, surrounded by sprawling fields, a sight he would forever cherish.

Once they broke free of Veldari's atmosphere, a sudden wave of dizziness washed over Daimon, prompting him to sit down. He closed his eyes for just a moment, a moment that proved pivotal as the old Daimon faded away, replaced by the new. This marked the beginning of his extraordinary journey.
