The deafening sound of the gunshot had reverberated through the walls, shattering the club's vibrant atmosphere. Within seconds, patrons and people from nearby rooms and the staff rushed toward the source of the noise. Murmurs spread like wildfire as the crowd gathered at the doorway, their eyes falling on the lifeless body of the man sprawled on the floor.

"What the hell happened here?" a man muttered, his expression a mix of curiosity and alarm.

"Was it a fight?" a woman asked, clutching her bag tightly, her eyes darting around nervously.

"Do you think it was a hit job? This place always attracts shady people," someone whispered, glancing toward Alice, who stood calmly at the edge of the room, her expression unreadable.

"Hey, wasn't she in the room with him?" a bystander questioned, pointing directly at Alice.

The questions turned into accusations as more people turned to her.
