**Chapter 375: Amazing Results—Madara Agrees to Reiki's Request!**

Uchiha Madara's mind was in turmoil after using his Rinnegan to probe Black Zetsu's memories. The truth he uncovered left him utterly stunned.

The once indomitable aura of the legendary Uchiha Madara seemed to waver, his eternal kaleidoscope eyes dimming under the weight of realization. His once-proud and heroic spirit had been replaced by a deep desolation.

---

With a loud *thud,* Madara dropped to his knees, his expression a mix of anguish, regret, and helplessness.

Orochimaru, who had been observing from a distance, looked puzzled. "What's wrong with Madara-sama?" he asked, but Reiki raised a hand, stopping him.

Shaking his head, Reiki silently gestured for Orochimaru to leave them. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Orochimaru stepped away, disappearing into the shadows.

Now, only Reiki and Madara remained in the fading light.

---

Hours passed. Night descended, but Madara remained motionless, consumed by his thoughts.

Reiki, unfazed, began preparing dinner from his supplies. Though he wasn't particularly hungry, his habit of eating at regular intervals kicked in.

"Madara-sama, you should eat something," Reiki said gently, placing a steaming bowl of food before him.

Madara's gaze shifted slowly to the bowl. "You must understand my state of mind right now…" he murmured.

Reiki said nothing, allowing the silence to stretch as Madara stared at the bowl. Memories of his past began to surface—floating by the river with Hashirama, their shared dream of peace, the building of Konoha, and the betrayal that had shattered it all.

*Plop.*

A single tear fell from Madara's eye, landing in the bowl. "Hashirama…" he whispered, his voice heavy with regret.

---

"Madara-sama, if you truly want to make amends, you still can," Reiki said softly. "Konoha is still here. Protecting it might be what Shodaime-sama would have wanted."

Reiki's words carried a quiet resolve. "When you see him again in the afterlife, you can tell him you've fulfilled your part of the dream. And if he complains… well, I'll deal with him for you."

A faint smile crossed Reiki's lips, and for the first time in hours, Madara chuckled dryly.

"Konoha? You think I can return to Konoha?" Madara asked, shaking his head. "I would only ever be seen as a traitor there."

Reiki's expression turned serious. "I can help you return to Konoha. And if you think about it, the next Hokage candidate could very well be a Uchiha."

Madara raised an eyebrow in skepticism. "Can you guarantee that?"

"I didn't come here to treat you for nothing," Reiki replied confidently. "There are those in the Uchiha clan—Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Itachi—who are more than capable of taking up that mantle. And then there's Obito, who once dreamed of being Hokage himself."

Reiki's calm assurance intrigued Madara. His words echoed promises Hashirama had once made. Though wary, Madara chose to listen.

---

To bolster his argument, Reiki produced a table and chair from his ninja pouch, sitting down to write. Madara raised an eyebrow at the absurdity of fitting furniture into a ninja bag but said nothing.

As Reiki wrote, Madara leaned in to read. Line by line, his expression shifted from curiosity to astonishment. By the time Reiki finished, Madara's mouth was slightly agape.

Orochimaru, curious, wandered back to take a peek at the notes. A cold chill ran through him as he read. The sheer depth of Reiki's plans, his foresight, and his ability to orchestrate outcomes were terrifying. Orochimaru couldn't help but wonder—had Reiki already set plans in motion for him too?

---

When Reiki handed the completed notes to Madara, the legendary ninja read them once more, his mind racing.

"Madara-sama," Reiki said firmly, "this is my confidence. If you return to Konoha, protect it, and truly become part of it, nothing else will matter. Any obstacles—political or otherwise—I will clear for you."

Madara stared at Reiki, his disbelief giving way to grudging admiration. "Orochimaru," Madara said slowly, "are you sure this boy is just a medical ninja?"

Orochimaru, still recovering from his own shock, replied hesitantly, "He… he should be…"

---

Madara laughed, a deep, genuine laugh that echoed through the night. "I never expected Konoha to produce someone as interesting as you, Reiki. But you've convinced me. I'll trust you, at least for now."

"However," he added, his tone serious, "what is your plan? Surely we can't just walk into Konoha together."

"I need three days to finalize everything," Reiki replied. "If you're still here by then, I'll have a plan ready for you."

"Three days," Madara said with a nod.

Then, Reiki extended his hand.

Madara looked at him quizzically. "What?"

"The payment for your treatment," Reiki said casually.

Madara chuckled and handed over the money without protest. "You're something else, Reiki."

---

As Reiki turned to leave, Orochimaru reappeared to claim Black Zetsu's immobilized body. With Madara's approval, Orochimaru departed, already fantasizing about the experiments he could conduct.

Madara stood under the moonlight, clutching Reiki's notes. For the first time in decades, he felt a spark of hope—hope not for domination, but for redemption.
