Gu Wanzhou couldn't help but blush deeply.
Even though she wasn't as openly shameless as Li Meifeng, the way the latter casually tossed out suggestive comments about feeding left her reeling.
And yet, as much as she wanted to resist, her mind involuntarily painted vivid images of herself in that very scenario—of her "feeding" someone…
Her face burned hotter as she tried to dismiss the ridiculous thoughts.
"Rao Shiyun and her husband have a strong relationship," Gu Wanzhou said, redirecting the conversation. "Their lives are deeply intertwined. If her husband truly wants to reconcile, I'm sure it will happen."
Despite their recent divorce, Gu Wanzhou knew that 20 years of marriage wasn't something either of them could easily let go of.
After all, they had shared the mundane rhythms of daily life for decades. Disagreements and temporary separation couldn't erase that foundation.
For Gu Wanzhou, even though her own marriage had crumbled under the weight of petty arguments and the slow death of romance, she still felt a lingering attachment.
Love might have withered, but the bond remained.
Rao Shiyun, in her view, was no different. Unless her husband broke her heart completely, reconciliation was almost inevitable.
Li Meifeng, however, scoffed.
"I disagree," she said with a mischievous smirk. "Feelings can change in an instant. Do you really think 20 years of marriage automatically outweighs the sincerity and passion of someone like Li Zhiyan?"
She leaned back, her voice tinged with mockery. "That boy practically worships her. Even I'm moved just watching him. Are you telling me she feels nothing?"
Her tone grew even more teasing. "Sure, she's caught between her husband and a younger man, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she chose the boy."
"His love is pure. It's fiery. It's real. And let's face it—he's young, charming, and determined. If I were her, I wouldn't think twice."
Li Meifeng sighed dramatically. "Too bad he doesn't go for older women like me. If he did, I'd give anything to have his child!"
Gu Wanzhou was speechless. She knew Li Meifeng had a chaotic private life, always chasing younger men, but her brazenness today was something else entirely.
Still, she couldn't deny the truth in her words. Sometimes, even decades of marriage couldn't compete with the intensity of new love.
A strange unease settled over Gu Wanzhou.
Li Meifeng's teasing didn't stop there. "Honestly, don't be surprised if something already happened between them. Imagine this: Li Zhiyan, looking up at her with those puppy-dog eyes, says, 'Rao Aunty, I'm starving. Can you feed me?'"
She mimicked a doting tone. "And then, her maternal instincts kick in, and the next thing you know, she's feeding him. One thing leads to another, and boom—she's pregnant."
"Li Meifeng!" Gu Wanzhou snapped, her face crimson. "Can you stop talking nonsense?!"
She hastily changed the subject before the conversation spiraled even further.
"What about Li Zhiyan drinking so much? Are you sure he's okay?"
"Of course," Li Meifeng replied nonchalantly. "That boy is practically a wine god. Ten cups of white wine, and he didn't even fall over!"
Her voice carried a mix of admiration and awe. "Meanwhile, poor Liu Huan is still hospitalized after getting beaten by his wife. Serves him right."
"Impressive…" Gu Wanzhou muttered, though she wasn't sure if she was more impressed or concerned.
"Impressive doesn't even begin to cover it. That boy's got stamina for days! I mean, his liver must be incredible… though I wouldn't be surprised if other parts of him are just as strong."
Li Meifeng's tone turned playful again.
"Meifeng!"
"What? You saw it yourself, didn't you?"
Gu Wanzhou froze. She hadn't told anyone about what she'd noticed in the café that day. Could it be… she wasn't hallucinating?
"Don't tell me you've… fed him before?" Li Meifeng teased, winking.
"Enough!" Gu Wanzhou groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Do you have any useful connections or not?"
Li Meifeng shrugged. "Not personally, but I know someone who might help. Zhang Hongbin has a friend who runs several successful internet cafés. You could ask him."
"Forget it." Gu Wanzhou dismissed the idea. She knew Zhang Hongbin's intentions all too well. He wasn't interested in helping unless it benefitted him—and his idea of "benefit" was anything but professional.
After ending the call, Gu Wanzhou found herself mulling over Li Meifeng's words.
Could Rao Shiyun really…? No, that's impossible. He's just a child!
But as her thoughts drifted to the stolen kiss and what she had seen in the café, she couldn't lie to herself anymore.
If she let him, Li Zhiyan could make her pregnant.

At the café, Li Zhiyan surveyed the upgraded interior with satisfaction.
The walls gleamed with fresh paint, the chairs were brand-new, and the tacky signs were gone.
The computers looked unchanged on the outside, but a quick check confirmed the hardware had been fully upgraded.
"Smooth gameplay trumps appearances any day," he muttered, smiling to himself.
Li Siyu, meanwhile, gawked at the improvements.
"Boss, you really went all out! It's like a whole new place."
Li Zhiyan chuckled. "Try logging in and see for yourself."
Skeptical, Li Siyu booted up a machine. The moment he launched CrossFire, he was stunned.
"Whoa! This is insane! It's faster than DreamNet Café!"
He quickly tested several more machines, all of which performed flawlessly.
"Alright, let's open for business," Li Zhiyan announced.
By mid-afternoon, the café was bustling. Loyal regulars, thrilled by the upgrades and the free credit, spread the word to their friends.
Li Zhiyan leaned back in his chair, sipping on a cold soda. Beside him, Li Siyu beamed with pride.
"Boss, how am I doing as manager? Not bad, right?"
"You're doing great. Just keep it up," Li Zhiyan replied. "From now on, you've got full authority here. Just give me a call if anything serious comes up."
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of heels clicking on the floor.
Li Siyu glanced toward the entrance and nearly choked.
"Shimu!"
Jiang Xian stood in the doorway, her black pencil skirt and white blouse hugging her figure perfectly.
"Well, well," she said, raising an eyebrow. "What's this about a café? And since when is Li Siyu a manager?"
Her gaze shifted to Li Zhiyan, and for a moment, her composure faltered.
He's only 18, and he already owns a café?
