Chapter 10: The movie project

Emily's POV Continues

I headed towards the office to do the business which had brought me here. I stepped into the office to ask for a favor. 

I wonder if I could be favoured by you ma'am to allow my friend Lucy take up the male lead in the movie. Mrs Alex. I'd be forever in your debt if my request is granted, I said, my heart in my throat.

It's weird calling her mrs Alex, but that's a topic for another day. It's not the time to dwell on that. Her answer is what matters to me at this point.

I would like you to please consider the person I recommend for the Female lead to play the role in this movie.

Hopefully, she responded. "Well, how good is the said person? because the success of this movie my priority. So if the person in question is good in what she does and can play the role well, then I could consider giving them the role."
