ACTING PITIFUL

Did they really think she was that stupid, they could be all lovey dovey with each other but she couldn't even spend a night with a man? Although spending a night with a man was an even greater offense than their little action but she didn't care. Why would they always get their way while she stood and watched them.

Sneering in her heart she was about to retort when a voice interrupted her.

"What is going on here" a deep refined voice sounded from behind the crowd, turning around they saw six middle aged people with magnificent auras and charisma standing there looking at the scene Infront of them. The six people were Master Wu, Madam Wu, Master Lin, Madam Lin, Master Mu and Madam Mu.

"Dad please don't blame sister, it's not her fault" Lin jiayi said hurriedly as if she was really trying to protect Wu Ning, if it were to be the former Wu Ning she would have been greatly touched by Lin jiayi actions but after her rebirth she just found her pathetic.

"Blame her ? For what" Master Wu asked with frown, he could sense something was wrong.

Lin jiayi pursed lips, biting it hard like she didn't want to say anything making them even more curious.

"Speak up child what did your sister do and why are we going to blame her" Madam Wu said with her heart turning uneasy. 'What had this worthless daughter of hers done again' she thought.

"Yes dear, tell us what is going on" Madam Lin said softly. Looking at her Wu Ning finally understood where Lin jiayi had gotten her soft and delicate features from.

"Hmm, earlier this morning I and brother Ling went to sister's room to look for her but she wasn't in her room at the time so we went out in search for her, but after searching for a while we couldn't find her so we got worried and went to check the surveillance footage then.." Lin jiayi voice trailed as she looked down reluctantly not wanting to continue.

"Then what child, speak up" Madam Mu said seemingly annoyed, 'why was she wasting so much time, couldn't she just say it all in one go'.

"We saw sister going to towards this hotel room with a strange man" she said hurriedly sensing Madam Mu's annoyance.

"But no one should blame sister, I'm sure she must have been decieved by that man lies and didn't really know what she was doing" Lin jiayi said with all her might trying to protect Wu Ning on the surface but actually pushing her deeper into the pit, how could she be so foolish as to follow a stranger blindly, did she not know of the wickedness of this world.

Wu Ning had to aplaud Lin jiayi's for such great acting skills, at this rate it wouldn't be long before she won an oscar award. Thinking of this she couldn't blame her past self too much for falling for her lies, the girl was a pro actor, even she who knew the truth started doubting herself for awhile, she thought shaking her head in amusement.

"Wu Ning! you shameless girl, how could you do such a thing right after your engagement, can you please have some shame. You are already embarrassing enough to the family and yet someone as good as Mu Ling is willing to marry you yet you went ahead to do this!" Madam wu screamed at the top of her voice shooting venoms at Wu Ning.

At this moment if gazes could kill she would have been long dead cause countless muderous gazes were thrown at her all at once, if it were to be anyone else in her shoes they would have probably found it very suffocating but someone like herself who had been through the ups and downs of life could easily tolerate it.

Looking back at those countless gazes being thrown at her all at once she could but smiled inwardly as she prepared to give this people a good show.

Looking down suddenly, she forced tears out from her eyes, her entire temperament turned pitiful as her shoulder slumped down looking very weak and helpless.

"Mom, dad, uncle, aunty... I'm so sorry for what I have done, sister was right I shouldn't have been easily decieved and fooled by that stranger" she said sobbing gently.

"But I wasn't in the right state of mind I felt very dizzy at the moment and I just needed somewhere to lie down so I followed that stranger to his room. I shouldn't have done that, I have made a very big mistake" she said as big teardrop fell down her cheeks, she looked so pitiful at the moment that everyone who looked at her couldn't help but feel deep pity for her mostly the elders who had watched her grow up, no matter how useless she was she was still their child.

At the thought of this their hearts softened a little.

Seeing this scene Lin jiayi clenched her fist in anger, although Wu Ning wasn't as delicate looking as herself, she was still far more beautiful than her so if she wanted to act pitiful, the effect would be a hundred times better than hers!.

Looking at those beautiful peach black eyes of hers that greatly resembled that of her late mother Sun quinping, Master Mu couldn't help but forgive her in his heart, things has always been like that, no matter what she did, he couldn't just tend to stay angry at her for too long after all she was the precious seedling between him and his first love so how could he stay angry with her for too long.

Sighing lightly Master Wu was about to open his mouth and resolve the pending issue at hand when a shrill voice interrupted him.
