Targeting Hayley

Chapter 4: Targeting Hayley

Sebastian had barely caught his breath after the encounter with Rebekah when the idea struck him. If he were to manipulate the Mikaelson family completely, he needed to ensnare Hayley Marshall, the hybrid mother who had a complicated relationship with the Mikaelsons. Hayley was fierce, independent, and vulnerable all at once, making her the perfect target for his charms.

With a new determination, he set out to find her. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the streets of New Orleans as he made his way through the French Quarter. He found her at a small, dimly lit bar, nursing a drink while gazing into the distance. Her brow was furrowed in thought, and he could sense the weight of her struggles even from a distance.

Sebastian approached her, his charm oozing from every pore. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, his voice smooth and inviting.

Hayley looked up, her eyes narrowed with suspicion. "And why would I want to do that?"

"Because," he said, leaning against the bar with casual confidence, "I can tell you're in need of a distraction. And I happen to be very good at providing them."

She considered him for a moment, and he could see the walls she'd built around herself beginning to crack. "Fine," she replied, her tone begrudgingly accepting. "But don't think you can charm me that easily."

Sebastian grinned, leaning closer as he lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Oh, I wouldn't dream of it. But you should know, I'm not just here to charm you. I'm here to help."

"Help?" she repeated, skepticism etched across her face.

"Let's just say I understand the struggles of being a hybrid mother in a family of vampires," he said, the sincerity in his voice almost convincing.

He watched as Hayley's interest piqued, her defenses slowly crumbling. "And what makes you think you can help me?"

"I know how to navigate their world," he said, leaning in just a little closer, his eyes locking onto hers. "I can offer you insights, protection—whatever you need."

Hayley's expression shifted, a hint of vulnerability breaking through. "And what's in it for you?"

"Let's call it mutual benefit," he replied, flashing her a charming smile. "But I promise, I won't let you down."

She studied him for a long moment, and finally, a reluctant smile broke across her lips. "Alright, Sebastian. But if you're lying to me…"

"I never lie," he interrupted smoothly. "I only seduce."

She rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her amusement. "Okay, let's see what you've got."

Sebastian took the opportunity to shift the conversation to lighter topics, his charm weaving an invisible web around her. They laughed and shared stories, their chemistry undeniable as the night wore on. He could feel the connection growing stronger, and soon, he would pull her into his orbit completely.

As the bar began to empty, Sebastian leaned closer, his voice low and intimate. "You know, it's a shame to waste such a beautiful night here. What do you say we continue this conversation somewhere more… private?"

Hayley hesitated for just a moment, and he could see the wariness in her eyes. But the allure of escaping the bar's confines was too tempting. "Alright," she agreed, her voice soft but firm. "Lead the way."

He guided her through the dimly lit streets, his hand brushing against her back, subtly fueling the tension between them. He took her to a secluded spot in a nearby park, the moonlight filtering through the leaves and casting a romantic glow around them.

"This is nice," Hayley said, glancing around. "What's the plan?"

Sebastian turned to her, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Just this," he said, closing the distance between them. He captured her lips with his in a fierce kiss, one that sent electricity shooting through both of them.

Hayley gasped against him, her body responding immediately to the heat of the moment. He deepened the kiss, sliding his hands to her waist, feeling the tension in her body give way to desire. She kissed him back, her hands threading through his hair, pulling him closer as their bodies pressed against each other.

"Sebastian…" she murmured breathlessly as they broke apart, her cheeks flushed. "What are you doing?"

"Just showing you how good it can feel to let go," he replied, his voice dripping with seduction. "You deserve this."

With a swift motion, he lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around his waist as he pressed her against a nearby tree. The bark was rough against her back, but she didn't mind. All that mattered was the heat radiating between them, the way their bodies fit together perfectly.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked, his voice low and husky, searching her eyes for any hint of hesitation.

She didn't answer with words. Instead, she leaned in, capturing his lips with her own once more, her body arching into him as if she couldn't get close enough. That was all the encouragement he needed.

Sebastian thrust against her, their bodies moving in perfect harmony. He kissed her deeply, exploring every inch of her mouth as his hands roamed over her curves, savoring the feel of her beneath him.

"Sebastian," she breathed, pulling back just enough to catch her breath. "I—"

"No more words," he urged, pressing his forehead against hers. "Just feel."

He began to move against her, their bodies creating a rhythm that matched the pounding of their hearts. Every thrust sent waves of pleasure coursing through them, each gasp and moan fueling the fire that burned between them.

Hayley's fingers clawed at his back, urging him on as her body responded eagerly to his every touch. "God, you feel amazing," she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.

Sebastian smirked, enjoying the way she melted against him. "And you're just getting started."

He thrust harder, the sound of their bodies colliding echoing in the stillness of the night. The world around them faded away, leaving only the intoxicating sensations and the raw desire that bound them together.

"Sebastian!" she cried, her voice a mix of pleasure and urgency. "I'm so close!"

"Let go, Hayley," he urged, his breath hot against her skin. "Just give in to it."

With a final, powerful thrust, she shattered beneath him, her body convulsing in pleasure as waves of ecstasy washed over her. "Oh, God!" she cried out, her fingers digging into his shoulders as she rode the waves of her climax.

The sight of her losing control drove Sebastian over the edge, his own release crashing into him like a tidal wave. He groaned, feeling her warmth envelop him as he filled her completely, their bodies entwined in the afterglow of their passion.

Breathless and spent, he leaned against her, his heart racing as they both came down from the high. Hayley's eyes sparkled with a mixture of satisfaction and surprise as she looked at him, a slow smile spreading across her face.

"That was…" she started, her voice trailing off as she tried to find the right words.

"Life-changing?" he suggested playfully, mirroring her earlier words.

She laughed softly, shaking her head. "More like mind-blowing."

"I aim to please," he said, his tone teasing yet sincere. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face, his expression softening. "You're incredible, you know that?"

"Don't think this means I trust you completely," she warned, a hint of mischief in her eyes.

"Trust is a journey," he replied smoothly. "But I'm willing to take that journey with you, if you'll let me."

Their chemistry was undeniable, and he could see the flicker of curiosity in her gaze. As the night stretched on, they found themselves wrapped in each other's arms, sharing stories and laughter, the bond between them growing stronger with each passing moment.

Sebastian knew he was on the right path. With Rebekah already enchanted, and now Hayley falling into his web, he was closer to achieving his goal of completely manipulating the Mikaelson family. But he also felt a strange sense of satisfaction in the connections he was forging—not just for power, but for the sheer thrill of it.

As the first light of dawn began to break, he realized that their adventures were only just beginning. The night had changed everything, and he couldn't wait to see what the next chapter held in store. With both women wrapped around his finger, Sebastian smiled to himself, knowing he was well on his way to becoming the most powerful player in New Orleans.

The morning sun cast a golden hue over the city, illuminating the streets of New Orleans. Sebastian felt invigorated, a mix of adrenaline and satisfaction coursing through his veins. He had successfully woven himself into the lives of the Mikaelsons, but he knew that this was just the beginning. There were many more layers to peel back, and he needed to tread carefully to maintain his position.

Hayley stirred beside him, her eyes fluttering open to the new day. For a moment, confusion crossed her features as she took in their surroundings—the remnants of their night spent entwined beneath the trees. Then, a smile slowly spread across her lips as she remembered the passion they had shared.

"Morning," he greeted, propping himself up on one elbow, his gaze playful. "How do you feel?"

She laughed lightly, the sound rich and warm. "I think I'm going to need a lot of coffee."

"Coffee I can do," he replied, rising to his feet and extending a hand to her. "Come on, let's get you caffeinated."

As they walked through the winding streets, their shoulders brushed against one another, the electricity still lingering from their previous encounter. They stopped at a small café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. Sebastian ordered for both of them, effortlessly charming the barista as he did.

"Impressive," Hayley remarked, her eyebrows raised in mock disbelief. "You're quite the smooth talker."

"It's all part of the package," he said, flashing her a grin as he handed her a steaming cup. "You'll find I'm full of surprises."

"Surprises, huh?" she mused, taking a sip of her drink. "I think I'm starting to get that impression."

They found a table on the patio, the vibrant energy of the city awakening around them. Sebastian felt the anticipation thrumming in his chest as he considered how to further entwine himself in Hayley's life. They exchanged stories over coffee, both becoming more comfortable with each other as they laughed and shared anecdotes.

"So, tell me," Hayley began, leaning forward with genuine curiosity, "what's your story? You seem like you've seen a lot."

Sebastian hesitated, carefully crafting his response. "I've traveled quite a bit, met a variety of people. I've learned that power dynamics are fascinating—especially in a place like New Orleans."

She narrowed her eyes, sensing there was more beneath the surface. "Power dynamics? Is that what this is for you? A game?"

"Maybe a little," he admitted, his tone playful yet serious. "But I also see it as a way to understand others. Like you, for example. Your strength and your struggles intrigue me."

Hayley considered him, her expression thoughtful. "And what do you see when you look at me?"

"A woman who's been through hell but still stands tall. You fight for those you care about, and that's admirable," he said, his gaze unwavering.

She held his gaze, something flickering between them. "And what about you? What's your angle in all of this?"

Sebastian leaned back, feigning casualness. "I just want to help you navigate the complexities of your world. You deserve to be free of burdens, Hayley. You have enough to deal with."

He watched as her defenses softened, her expression shifting from suspicion to intrigue. "Maybe you're right. But I'm still not sure I trust you."

"Trust takes time," he said, a smirk playing on his lips. "And I'm willing to wait."

As they finished their coffee, Sebastian's mind raced with possibilities. He could sense the tension between them, the connection they shared growing stronger with every passing moment. He wanted to capitalize on that chemistry, to push her boundaries just enough to draw her deeper into his web.

"Why don't we explore the city together?" he suggested, his tone light yet enticing. "I could show you some hidden gems."

"Sounds like a plan," she agreed, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

They spent the day wandering through the vibrant streets of New Orleans, visiting art galleries and quaint shops. Sebastian effortlessly guided her, weaving tales of history and intrigue that captivated her attention. They shared laughter and flirtation, the line between friendship and something more becoming increasingly blurred.

As evening fell, they found themselves at a beautiful overlook, the city illuminated beneath the setting sun. The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink, and the atmosphere felt electric.

Sebastian turned to Hayley, a serious look settling on his face. "You know, I'm glad we met. You're more than I expected."

"Really?" she replied, her voice soft, almost vulnerable. "What were you expecting?"

"I expected a warrior, but I found someone who has layers—someone who can be both fierce and fragile," he admitted, stepping closer.

The moment hung in the air, thick with unspoken tension. Hayley looked up at him, her eyes searching his. "And what do you want from me?"

He reached out, gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her skin. "I want to know you, all of you. I want to help you."

Before she could respond, he leaned in, capturing her lips with his in a passionate kiss. It was deeper and more fervent than before, fueled by the emotional connection they had built throughout the day. Hayley melted into him, her hands finding their way to his hair, pulling him closer as their mouths moved in perfect harmony.

Sebastian felt his desire swell as he deepened the kiss, their bodies pressed together against the cool night air. The world around them faded away, leaving only the intoxicating taste of her lips and the way her body molded perfectly against his.

"Sebastian," she murmured against his mouth, her voice thick with desire. "This is moving fast…"

He pulled back just enough to gaze into her eyes, his expression earnest. "I know, but I can't help it. There's something between us that's hard to ignore."

"Maybe you're right," she whispered, her cheeks flushed as she searched his gaze for answers.

With a playful glint in his eye, he leaned back in, capturing her lips once more. This time, their kiss was hungry, desperate. His hands traveled down her waist, gripping her firmly as he pulled her body flush against his. Every touch ignited a fire within him, the warmth spreading through him like wildfire.

"Let's take this back to my place," he suggested breathlessly, breaking the kiss for just a moment. "I promise to make it worth your while."

Hayley's breath hitched, and he could see the conflict in her eyes—the desire battling against her better judgment. "I shouldn't…"

"Trust me, Hayley. You won't regret it," he assured her, his voice low and enticing.

With a determined nod, she took his hand, and together they made their way back to his apartment, the energy between them crackling with unspoken tension.

Once inside, Sebastian wasted no time. He pulled her close, capturing her lips in a searing kiss as he backed her against the wall. Hayley responded eagerly, their bodies moving in perfect sync, passion igniting between them.

"Are you ready for this?" he murmured against her lips, his hands roaming her sides, igniting every nerve in her body.

"Yes," she breathed, her eyes dark with need. "I'm ready."

He lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around his waist as he carried her to the bedroom. The space was dimly lit, shadows dancing across the walls as he laid her down gently. He hovered over her, his gaze filled with hunger and admiration.

"I've wanted this since the moment I met you," he admitted, his voice low and intimate.

"Then don't hold back," she urged, her eyes smoldering with desire. "Show me what you've got."

Sebastian leaned down, kissing her deeply as his hands explored her body, mapping every curve and contour. He took his time, savoring the way she responded to his touch, the way her breath quickened beneath him.

"God, you're beautiful," he murmured, trailing kisses along her neck, feeling her shudder beneath him. "You're everything I didn't know I needed."

As he worshiped her body, he could feel the tension building, their desire spiraling into something primal and raw. He teased her, drawing out her pleasure until she was a writhing mess beneath him, begging for more.

"Sebastian, please…" she gasped, her fingers tangled in his hair as she pulled him closer.

"Just a little longer," he replied, his voice husky with desire. He wanted to push her to the edge, to make her feel things she had never experienced before.

When he finally succumbed to her pleas, the world around them dissolved into a haze of passion and pleasure. They moved together in perfect harmony, their bodies entwined as they chased the sweet release of ecstasy.

As they reached their peaks, their cries mingled in the air, creating a beautiful symphony of passion that echoed through the night. They collapsed together, breathless and entwined, the aftershocks of pleasure still coursing through them.

Sebastian pulled her closer, his heart racing as he savored the intimacy of the moment. "You were incredible," he whispered, brushing his fingers against her cheek.

"Maybe I should trust you more often," Hayley replied, a soft smile on her lips.

Sebastian chuckled, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like a cozy blanket. "Just wait until you see what else I have in store."

As the night wore on, they talked and laughed, sharing secrets and dreams beneath the soft glow of the moonlight. Hayley felt a deeper connection forming with each passing moment, an undeniable bond that had forged itself in the fires of passion.

Sebastian stroked Hayley's hair gently, reveling in the intimacy that had blossomed between them. "You know, I didn't expect to find someone like you here," he said, his voice low and sincere.

Hayley looked up at him, her expression softening. "What do you mean?"

"I mean someone who isn't afraid to fight for what they believe in, who has depth and strength. It's refreshing," he replied, searching her eyes for understanding. "It's rare to find someone who can match me."

"Match you?" she echoed, a hint of disbelief in her voice. "You make it sound like a competition."

"In a way, it is. Life is about power and balance, especially in our world," he said, his tone turning serious. "But it's also about connection. I've learned that the strongest ties can be found in the most unexpected places."

Hayley's brow furrowed slightly as she processed his words. "You make it sound so calculated. I've fought tooth and nail to protect what I love; it's not just a game for me."

"I get that," he said, his gaze steady. "But understanding the game can give you an edge. I want to help you navigate it."

She took a moment, chewing on her bottom lip as she contemplated his offer. "And how do you plan to do that?"

"By being by your side, learning your world, and helping you keep those you care about safe," he replied, leaning closer, his eyes locked onto hers. "You deserve that kind of support."

The tension between them crackled anew, charged with both vulnerability and raw need. Hayley seemed to waver, caught between her instincts and the undeniable connection they had forged. "You really think you can help me?"

Sebastian didn't hesitate. "I know I can. But it won't be easy. I need you to trust me."

"I'll consider it," she said, her tone playful but tinged with seriousness. The air between them felt heavy with possibilities, and he could sense her walls starting to crumble.

With a gentle tug, he pulled her closer, sealing their conversation with another passionate kiss. This time, there was no hesitation, only urgency as they melted into each other once more. The heat between them reignited, setting their bodies ablaze.

Sebastian's hands roamed her body, tracing her curves and igniting every nerve. He kissed her with fervor, savoring the taste of her lips as they moved in rhythm together, lost in the moment. He could feel the tension coiling within her, building in intensity, and he reveled in every gasp and sigh that escaped her.

"Sebastian…" she breathed, her voice a mix of desire and disbelief. "You're…something else."

"Is that a good thing?" he asked playfully, pausing for just a moment to look into her eyes.

"It's more than good," she replied, a smile creeping onto her lips. "You're intense. And I'm not sure what to do with that."

"Let go of your worries," he urged, his tone soothing as he caressed her cheek. "Let me take care of you."

With that, he kissed her again, deeper this time, as if to seal their connection. As their bodies pressed together, he felt the warmth of her skin beneath his fingertips, urging him onward. The night felt limitless, and the possibilities of their connection lay before them like an open road.

Sebastian's hands found their way beneath her shirt, exploring the soft skin of her stomach. She gasped, her body arching into his touch, and he took that as an invitation. With a practiced grace, he slid the shirt up and over her head, tossing it aside as he gazed down at her, admiration gleaming in his eyes.

"God, you're stunning," he whispered, his voice raw with desire.

Hayley's cheeks flushed with heat, her gaze flickering between shyness and boldness. "You're not too bad yourself."

He grinned at her response, his hands now exploring her curves with a reverent touch. The softness of her skin, the way she leaned into him, ignited something primal within him. He leaned down, kissing her collarbone, his lips trailing lower, leaving a path of fire along her body.

"Sebastian…" she murmured, her voice thick with emotion as he lavished attention on her.

"Just relax," he instructed softly, his mouth moving further down, trailing kisses along her breast. He felt her shudder beneath him, a delightful response that sent a thrill through his core.

He wanted to take his time, to draw out her pleasure until she was trembling beneath him. Every kiss, every touch, was calculated to tease and entice. He could feel her heart racing beneath his lips, a rhythm that matched the fervor of their connection.

"Sebastian, please…" she begged, her voice tinged with urgency as she grasped his hair, her fingers tightening around him. "I need more."

"More?" he asked, his voice low and teasing, as he pulled back slightly to gauge her reaction. "You mean you want me to…?"

"Don't tease me," she breathed, her eyes darkening with desire. "You know what I want."

His smirk widened at her boldness, and he wasted no time in fulfilling her unspoken request. He hovered over her, capturing her lips again, the kiss deepening as their bodies pressed together. The world around them faded, leaving only the two of them tangled in sheets and desire.

As he moved against her, he felt her body respond eagerly, arching into him as they began to move together. Every thrust sent waves of pleasure coursing through both of them, each gasp and moan igniting the fire that burned between them. Sebastian felt the connection between them intensify, a powerful force that pulled them closer together.

"Hayley," he murmured against her lips, feeling her warmth enveloping him. "You feel incredible."

She responded with a soft cry, her body writhing beneath him as he quickened his pace. The room was filled with the sounds of their pleasure, a symphony of gasps and sighs that echoed off the walls. The intensity built, and he could feel the pressure coiling tightly within him, an impending release that threatened to consume them both.

"Don't stop," she begged, her eyes locking onto his with an intensity that left him breathless. "Please don't stop."

With renewed fervor, he pressed deeper, his movements becoming more urgent, more desperate. He felt the tension between them reach its breaking point, a delicious crescendo that left them both teetering on the edge.

"Let go with me," he urged, his voice thick with desire.

In that moment, they surged together, their bodies moving in perfect sync as they both reached their peak. The world exploded into colors and sensations, their cries mingling in the air, drowning out everything else. Every nerve sang as they surrendered to the overwhelming pleasure, their bodies entwined in a blissful release.

As they came down from the high, Sebastian collapsed beside her, both of them gasping for breath. The weight of what had just happened settled around them, heavy with intimacy and connection.

Hayley turned to him, her expression a mix of wonder and surprise. "Wow," she breathed, her voice still laced with breathlessness. "I didn't expect that."

"Neither did I," he admitted, glancing at her with a playful grin. "But I must say, I'm glad it happened."

She chuckled, her cheeks still flushed as she propped herself up on one elbow. "You have a way of surprising me, Sebastian. It's kind of infuriating and… exciting at the same time."

"That's the goal," he said, a smirk tugging at his lips. "To keep you on your toes."

They lay in comfortable silence for a moment, basking in the afterglow of their passion. The city outside continued its lively rhythm, but in that moment, it felt as if time stood still just for them.

Eventually, Hayley shifted, a serious expression settling on her face. "What happens now?"

Sebastian turned to face her fully, his expression softening. "Now? We see where this leads us. I want to help you with everything you're facing. But I also want to explore this connection between us. If you're open to it."

Her gaze searched his, and for a moment, he feared he had pushed too hard. But then she nodded, a small smile gracing her lips. "I'd like that. But you have to promise me one thing."

"Anything," he said, leaning closer, intrigued.

"Don't make this just about the game. I want to know you—Sebastian Knight, not just the incubus or the strategist," she replied earnestly. "Can you do that?"

He paused, the weight of her words settling in. "I can. I'll show you who I am. Just give me time."

"Okay," she said, her smile growing wider. "I think I can do that."

As they lay together, the night wrapping around them like a warm blanket, Sebastian felt a sense of contentment wash over him. He had planted the seeds of something meaningful, and for the first time in a long while, he felt hopeful about the future.

But in the back of his mind, he knew that navigating this new dynamic would be anything but simple.
