Chapter 242: Alice's Exclusive Mark

Sui and Alice carried the girls who had fallen asleep into the guest rooms to rest. As for the boys sprawled on the floor, they simply covered them with blankets.

After that, the two of them headed upstairs to Erina's bedroom.

"Erina's room is surprisingly simple,"

Alice commented as she sat at the edge of the bed, glancing around the space. She remembered the two breakthroughs she and Sui had experienced here, and her cheeks turned a faint red from embarrassment.

Yet, thinking back to how she had slept with Erina's boyfriend in Erina's own bedroom, Alice felt a mischievous sense of pride.

Recalling how Erina had always been the one in control since they were children, Alice now felt triumphant. She had finally taken away something Erina treasured deeply—her beloved "toy."

With a sense of curiosity, she began to browse through Erina's closet.

"Hey, Sui, which of Erina's clothes do you like best?"

Alice asked, pulling out a few outfits and showing them to him.

"That one."

Sui pointed to a floral dress. It was the dress Erina had worn on their first date, leaving a deep impression on him.

"This one?"

Alice inspected the dress and then, without any hesitation, began to take off her school uniform in front of Sui.

In the moonlight, her snow-white skin gleamed like ivory, and her delicate features and graceful figure made her look as elegant as an elf.

"How do I look? Does it suit me?"

Alice twirled in the dress, holding the hem in both hands, smiling as she looked at Sui.

"Yeah, it looks good."

Sui nodded. Unlike Erina's gentle and elegant appearance in the dress, Alice exuded a more regal and confident aura.

"Who do you think looks better in it, me or Erina?"

Alice asked with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"You both look great."

Sui replied diplomatically, genuinely finding both of them beautiful.

"Hmph! You're just being perfunctory!"

Alice pouted, looking slightly displeased.

"You know, Alice, despite all the bickering whenever you two meet, you and Erina actually have a good relationship, don't you?"

Sui asked thoughtfully.

"No way! I'm not close to Erina at all!"

Alice protested angrily, but then paused and continued, "Even though Erina always acts like an annoying queen with a bad temper, if Uncle Azami hadn't burned the letter I sent her, we'd probably be better friends now, don't you think?"

Sui was at a loss for words. The two cousins were surprisingly alike in this regard. They clearly cared for each other, yet neither of them was willing to admit it.

It was precisely because Erina held such a special place in Alice's heart that she couldn't bear to truly compete with her for Sui's affection, instead sacrificing her own feelings.

"You know about Uncle Azami? He's Erina's father."

Alice said, looking at Sui.

"Yeah, I know a bit."

Sui nodded.

"He did so many terrible things to Erina. I heard about it from my parents."

Alice said angrily.

The atmosphere grew heavy, and they both fell silent. Clearly, this wasn't a topic either of them wanted to dwell on.

"Oh, wait a second."

Sui suddenly remembered something, then went to the kitchen and retrieved the last of the pear bread.

The system had rewarded him with three pear breads—one each for the Nakiri sisters and Tohru.

"Huh? What a beautiful bread!"

Alice's eyes sparkled as she took in the enticing aroma. "Is this for me?"

"Yeah, I saved it just for you."

Sui smiled gently.

"Then I won't hold back."

Alice beamed sweetly upon hearing that Sui had saved it specifically for her. She took a bite, and the delicate sweetness spread across her tongue.

"This is amazing!"

Alice exclaimed, stroking her cheek in surprise. She had never tasted such delicious bread before!

"Did you make this, Sui?"

She asked curiously. "Do you have any more?"

"This bread comes from a naturally grown fruit. Unfortunately, I don't have any left."

Sui explained.

"A naturally grown fruit?"

Alice was stunned. If that were true, it would be a top-tier natural delicacy of unimaginable value.

Thinking about what Sui had just said to her made her heart flutter with joy.

"Sui, have a bite too."

Alice offered him the bread.

"No, you eat it. I've had some before."

Sui declined.

"No, we have to share it!"

Alice insisted earnestly.

Sui couldn't help but chuckle. Why were all three girls the same in this regard? Yet, this thought also filled his heart with warmth.

After they finished eating, Alice suddenly remembered something and asked with a hint of jealousy, "Did Erina get one too?"

"Yes."

Sui admitted.

"Ugh! How annoying!"

Alice puffed out her cheeks, visibly upset.

Then, she grabbed Sui's hand and bit down.

"What are you doing?"

Sui asked, bewildered and feeling a slight pain where she had bitten him.

"I'm leaving my own mark!"

Alice declared seriously.

Sui was speechless.

The next morning, Sui woke up early.

"Alice, time to get up."

He gently nudged the arm that was draped over him and spoke to Alice, who was still sound asleep.

"No, I want to sleep a little longer!"

Alice mumbled, refusing to wake up. She then snuggled closer, pressing herself against him as she continued to sleep.

Sui stroked her smooth back, feeling a bit of a headache. "But everyone else is still downstairs."

Hearing this, Alice reluctantly sat up and began to put on her clothes.

The morning sun illuminated her youthful, graceful form. Her snow-white skin shimmered like jade, reminding Sui of the scene from last night when she had changed clothes under the moonlight.

"Don't stare!"

Alice suddenly turned around, blushing, and scolded him angrily.

Sui quickly looked away, feeling slightly awkward.

But then he glanced down at his own body and was startled.

His arms were covered in small, faint bite marks.
