ch5-Training

"Truely, thank you Analivia, I don't know what I would have done without you."

She kissed him on the forehead and gave him a warm smile.

"Don't worry about it Oliver, were in this together, I just hope I can help enough."

She said with an aquert smile, closing the door quickly after not giving Oliver time to respond.

...

And so the years slowly ticked by. For Oliver, who at this point had lived for hundreds of years this time was truly flying by.

All plans were going perfectly during this time. Especially when it came to training.

All girls were sticking to their training plan like it was the holy bible. Well that was only natural after all, now that they all believed the apocalypse was coming it wasn't difficult for Oliver to convince them to stick to it.

Convincing them of the tower wasn't that difficult either with the help of Analivia, after a single year of 'manipulation' they all believed in it wholeheartedly. Oliver had expected it to be more difficult, but maybe he had overestimated them, they were after all only 13 year old girls.

Emma had a physical training schedule that mostly resolved around training her speed and reaction time. As for her weapon mastery she used a set of daggers, combined with different kind of poisons. Which was only natural as she was an assassin.

As for real combat training, Emma first started out with a guide written by Oliver on assassins, it wasn't like he had extensive knowledge, but having climbed to the 69th floor he had a pretty good grasp over each and every class. It wasn't much compared to the challengers on his floor, but he was leagues ahead of the current earth.

After she had basically mastered everything in the guide, which in and of itself took 3 years, she moved on to a trainer, a renowned martial artist Oliver hired. But it became quite obvious that he wasn't going to be enough when he started losing faster exponentially, within a year he had nothing left to offer Emma.

From that point up until now, only a month before humans would start transferring, she had been sparring in the woods with multiple highly trained combat veterans.

In the last year she had also memorized, over and over not only the situation on floor 0, but also the detailed plan Oliver had laid out for her.

Veronica's physical training was pretty similar, as even though she wouldn't need much strength as a support she still needed some, and some hand to hand combat experience to get through floor 0.

Her Class training relied mainly on positioning training, and knowing when to heal, how to heal, when to buff, how to buff, etc. Just making sure she could easily work within any party. Making optimum use of every recourse she had available. These basics had taken her most of her time to master.

She too of course memorized the situation on floor 0, and her detailed plan.

Melissa was the odd one out, as she trained both strength, endurance, and agility equally. As a front line fighter she couldn't miss any of them, otherwise it would be detrimental.

Because head on physical classes were regarded as the easiest to learn it took Melissa blearily 1 year to completely get the basics. It wasn't all good though, as physical upfront fighter classes were still hard to master. Even having a 2 year head start she barely kept up with Emma when it came to training.

And of course, similar to the other 2 girls she also memorized all information needed to complete floor 0 with the maximum score for her skill level.

Even though they were all different, all 3 girls had undergone similar training over the last 6 years. Analivia, however, had a completely different routine.

First of all she only focused on agility. As Oliver had planned for her to choose a verry particular mission in the tutorial where only speed and reactions were needed.

When it came to class training, she didn't get any, this was also replaced by pure physical training. The reason was simple, the class Analivia was going to get through this particular mission was rather unique. In fact Oliver had never seen or heard of another like it.

This particular class wasn't trainable, as it would change Analivia's whole being.

Nevertheless she became a real speed demon, none of the other girls could even catch her shadow when they trained together for fun.

And of course, last but certainly not least was Oliver. His physical training was rather similar to all the girls, focusing on agility while increasing his strength and endurance on his rest days from his speed training.

As he didn't need any combat training, he spend most of his time working out the kinks of his plans, for both him and the girls, making backup plans etc.

The further he got into it the more he realized why no one had ever gotten a five star rating on their floor clears. It was simply insanity. Not only did you need to clear the highest difficulty, you also couldn't restrict yourself to your task only, you basically needed to completely fix all of the floors problems, short or long term in a perfect manor.

At this very moment Oliver and his 4 girls were sitting around a small coffee table, which they did often to discuss mostly things related to the tower, but honestly everything from personal insecurities to mental health issues had been discussed here.

"Okey girls, it is one month before the big day. Make sure to stay on top of your health, but beyond that I just want you guys to rest. If there is nothing more I think this meeting is done."

Emma, Veronica, and Melissa nodded with a smile as they stood up, Analivia, whoever who was sitting next to Oliver brought her face closer to his ear as started talking.

"I bought all the things we need for the start of the tutorial, so there is nothing to worry about anymore. So I think it is best If you too take a rest for the next month."

Oliver nodded and smiled, he too had had the same idea, but after 6 years of constantly having the same thing in the back of his mind it wasn't going to be easy.

"Thank you Ana."
