After a few minutes of wandering and encountering dead end after dead end, Aria and Linn find themselves standing before a large door. Its towering frame looms over them like a giant gazing down at ants by its feet. It was battered, its rusted surface scraping against debris that wedged it open, leaving a narrow gap, from which nothing but darkness was visible.
Aria peers through the narrow gap and shadows pooled within, the faintest whisper of stale air seeping out. The cold surface exuded a sense of foreboding that seemed to warn them to turn back.
"We need to get through this door to go any further. Think you can pry it open with a bit of earth magic?"
"No! I'm not going in there!"
"You don't have to follow me in, just open a gap big enough for me to go through."
Linn shot her a look, concerned about her omission in the plan.
"What about me?"
"You can just wait here if you're so against coming in."
