Finally, Roger simply stretched his hand through the gap between Ewing and Mason and out of the encirclement. At that moment, all four bodies began to plummet.
Before he hit the ground, Roger flicked the ball toward the basket. Ewing immediately turned in midair to block the shot, but he was a step too late.
The ball that was tossed up swished through the net as the game clock ran out. Surrounded by three players, Roger still managed to sink the ball steadily, tying the score just before halftime!
