The next day, inside a restaurant owned by Logan, Nick Fury sat alone in a private dining room, dressed in a sharp formal suit.
His keen eye observed the surroundings and noted that everyone working here seemed like ordinary humans—no mutants, no werewolves, just regular people.
He could be wrong as the outer appearance didn't tell about who we are.
He leaned back, recalling his conversation with Natasha before this meeting.
He knew Logan was a good man, but he was curious, even eager, to uncover the layers of Logan's true self. He knew everyone had a hidden side, and Logan was no exception.
Just as he drifted deeper into thought, a voice came from behind him. "Sorry for the wait, Fury."
Fury turned quickly to find Logan standing right behind him, wearing a casual smile. How had Logan managed to approach without Fury noticing? He prided himself on his awareness, and yet Logan had slipped through.
'It can be expected, he is around for a long time and should've trained to conceal his presence or it might be one of his powers.'
Fury stood up, extending his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you, Mr. Howlett."
Logan accepted the handshake with a firm grip. "Likewise. Now, let's settle down, shall we?"
Once seated across from each other, they ordered their meals. As they ate, Fury studied Logan carefully. On the surface, Logan appeared as a man in his mid-20s, easygoing and relaxed. Yet Fury felt an undercurrent—a sense of something far more dangerous lurking beneath the surface. This wasn't just a man; it was a beast in disguise.
After a while, Logan put down his glass and looked directly at Fury. "Let's get to the point. Why did you want to meet me? Don't tell me it's about funds. I can arrange that since you're a friend of Jean."
Fury wiped his mouth with a handkerchief and leaned forward, meeting Logan's gaze head-on. "It's not about funds. It's about what your pack did. I know very well it was under your orders."
Logan took a slow sip of his wine, a sly smile crossing his face. "So, what? What are you going to do about it?"
Fury held his gaze, unfazed. Logan tapped his wine glass twice, and immediately, all the staff and guests in the room exited, leaving them alone. Fury expected as much and maintained his composure, continuing to analyze Logan's every move.
Logan closed his eyes briefly, his expression calm. But when he opened them again, they glowed a piercing, blood-red. The atmosphere shifted; the relaxed young man had vanished, replaced by something far more menacing. Fury had encountered powerful mutants before, but this was different. Logan wasn't just a threat—he was an apex predator.
Logan's voice was low, almost mocking. "What are you going to do about it, Fury? Oh, that's right—you can't do anything."
Fury narrowed his eyes. "You think you can do whatever you want?"
Logan's smile faded, his tone turning cold. "Yeah, I think I can. As long as no one messes with me, I won't mess with them. But I know what you're planning, Fury, and I strongly advise against it. Don't make an enemy out of me."
He leaned forward, his gaze intense. "Because everyone who's tried has ended up dead, one way or another. Take this as advice or a warning. The only reason those listening to this conversation and those watching from a distance are still breathing is because I'm showing that I'm not some killing manic."
Fury's expression remained steady, but he knew he'd been read like a book. Logan's eyes returned to normal, and he leaned back, more relaxed.
"We could be allies, Fury," Logan said, offering a slight nod. "Friends or partners. Your team could use the help."
Fury stood up, not meeting the offer. "No need for that, Mr. Howlett. It's been… enlightening."
Logan rose as well, extending a hand. They shook hands briefly before Fury left the restaurant, feeling the weight of the encounter settle in his mind.
Moments later, Logan teleported away without a sound.

Once Fury was back in his car, he activated his comm link. "Is everyone alright?"
Maria Hill's voice came over the line. "Yes, sir. Everyone's fine. But about Howlett…"
Fury cut her off, his voice filled with a rare trace of unease. "He's… a very dangerous individual. We thought his strength came from his pack, but we were wrong."
He looked out the car window, watching the city pass by. "It's his family that keeps the beast in him at bay."

Soon a month had passed since Hope had awakened her vampire powers and Logan's meeting with Fury, and everyone was adjusting to the changes.
During this time, Tony Stark had been active as Iron Man, handling some terrorist threats and solidifying his new role as a hero.
Then, one day he was eager to meet with Logan, and they arranged to meet at Tony's home in a few days.
On Logan's side, Hope had been spending more time at Selene's house to train and control her abilities.
Interestingly, Hope found herself addicted to Logan's blood. She tried others—Laura, Jean, even Selene—but none tasted as satisfying as Logan's.
Logan couldn't quite explain why, but he felt a strange sense of pride in that.
Selene, after handling Howlett Enterprises for an years, decided it was time for a break. Emily stepped in as CEO, and she was managing everything remarkably well.
Meanwhile, Laura, Peggy, Selene and Anna decided they needed some time for themselves and embarked on a world tour together.
They wanted a chance to bond and see the world, and they were due to return in a few days. For now, things felt balanced and peaceful.

**Logan's House, nightime**
Logan's fingers drummed impatiently on the table, his eyes locked onto the cards in his hand.
Jean sat across from him, her smirk widening as she revealed her winning hand for the fourth time. Logan's brow furrowed, and he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Come on, it's not like we haven't seen each other naked," Jean teased, her voice dripping with playful arrogance.
Logan stood up silently, his movements are slow as he removed his underwear, tossing them aside.
He sat back down, crossing his arms over his chest, his gaze narrow and focused. "I know, but still feels bad to lose."
Jean's eyes darted downward, lingering on his exposed little brother for a moment before returning to his face.
She leaned back in her chair, her posture is relaxed yet confident. "Then win the game, that is if you can."
Logan's jaw tightened, his competitive spirit flaring. "Be ready to lose."
The next three rounds were a blur of cards and tension. Logan managed to claw his way back into the game, winning each round.
Jean's own lingerie now adorned the chair beside her, leaving little to the imagination. But the tide turned once more as they began the seventh round.
Logan's luck seemed to have run out, and Jean's smirk returned as she declared herself the winner.
Logan watched as Jean rose from her seat, her movements were slow. She sauntered over to him, her hips swaying seductively.
Without warning, she straddled his lap, her hands resting on his shoulders. Logan's breath hitched as she leaned in close, her lips brushing against his ear.
"You lost," she whispered in a sexy tone.
Logan's grip on her waist tightened, his eyes darkening with intention. He yanked her forward, pulling her flush against him, and slammed her against the nearby wall, their bodies pressed together from chest to thigh.
Jean gasped, her legs instinctively wrapping around his waist as she sought balance.
"I may have lost the match," Logan growled, his mouth inches from hers, "but I won in the end."
With that, he captured her lips in a searing kiss, his tongue pushing past her lips to explore the warm recesses of her mouth.
Jean moaned softly, her hands tangling in his hair as she deepened the kiss, matching his fervor stroke for stroke.
Their tongues danced together, exploring, teasing, and claiming each other.
Logan's hands roved over her back, his fingers tracing the curve of her spine before dipping lower, cupping her ass and pulling her even closer.
Jean arched into him, her nipples hardening against his bare chest. Her head tilted back, allowing Logan better access to her throat, which he took full advantage of, nipping and kissing along the sensitive column.
She gasped but after that she broke his kiss, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she looked into his eyes, a wicked glint sparkling within them.
"Bedroom," she murmured, her voice thick with desire.
Logan didn't need to be told twice. He teleported to his bedroom and they went on with their activity but stopped themselves from going on days.
Since Jean is still pregnant they have to control them selves.
So, they stopped only after one full day and night.
