Elian chuckled. "Sure, why not? It'll be nice to have some fresh fruit while we're out at sea."

As they continued sailing, the conversation shifted to where they would go first. "So, where are we heading next?" Nami asked, so she could navigate safely and find a fast route to their next island before their main destination.

Elian, leaning back against the boat railing, looked over at the endless sea. "I was thinking we could head towards Syrup Village. I heard there's someone there who might be able to help us upgrade the ship even more."

While that was one of the reasons Elian wanted to go to Syrup Village, the main reason was to recruit Kaya as their crew's doctor. Since she wanted to become a doctor and had medical knowledge, she was most suitable for the Devil Fruit Elian found while looking for something to heal his injury.

The rain started suddenly, a downpour that soaked them within seconds. They quickly finished securing everything before rushing into the small cabin for shelter.

Inside, the cabin was cramped, with just enough room for the three of them to sit side by side on the single bed. The storm outside continued, and the boat rocked violently with the waves. The sound of the wind and rain was a little scary; inside, only Nami was calm, as she had encountered storms several times.

Cuddled together, they tried to make themselves comfortable. Nami sat in the middle, with Elian on one side and Nojiko on the other.

Nojiko nodded, a blush on her cheek because of her wet clothes. "I'm fine. Just... wasn't expecting a storm on our first day at sea."

Elian laughed. "Well, this is part of the pirate life. Unpredictable weather and unexpected situations. Plus, this isn't anything compared to the Grand Line, so we have to get used to it."

"Ah, I see. But Elian, you still didn't tell me about your secret. So how about it right now? There's nothing else we can do at the moment anyway." Nojiko said, while Nami listened to their talk quietly.

"Oh, okay—I'll tell you." Hearing her, Elian got nervous, as he didn't really have any secrets. He only got powerful because of his system, but he couldn't tell her about the system. So he made up some fake information to tell her.

"Well, I have been wandering and researching around the whole world for quite a few years, so I learned those techniques from the people I met while traveling."

He didn't want to lie to them, but he couldn't really tell them the truth about him being from another world and the like, which might invite unwanted conflicts that he could prevent with a simple lie.

Nojiko nodded and requested, "Then can you please teach me those techniques too?"

"Me too! Even with the Devil Fruit powers, I don't have enough offensive powers." Nami chimed in.

Elian nodded, as he had already decided to make them stronger so he could enjoy his time in this world while they fought for him. Though, he still planned to use most of his resources to make himself powerful first.

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence, listening to the storm outside and feeling the beat of each other's hearts. As the rain continued to pour down.

Nami and Elian glanced at Nojiko, who was starting to drift off to sleep, her head resting against Nami's shoulder.

On the other hand, both Nami and Elian were feeling hot due to their skin being constantly in contact with each other.

Elian couldn't hold back any longer, so he did the most perverted thing anyone in the universe could do.

He moved his hand and wrapped it around Nami's. Surprising Nami, but she didn't reject it; instead, she accepted it while blushing.
