For the second day in a row, I woke up leisurely, at my own pace, and with no one yelling at me.
I didn't know what heaven looked like, but I was willing to bet it was a lot like this place.
Cracking my neck from side to side, I pulled back my furs and walked over to the washroom. It was exactly as it was on the ship, and I was thankful that Ba'dqeel at least showed me how the shower worked, but I really missed toilets and baths.
Getting a chemical soak every time I needed to use the washroom wasn't my idea of a good time. In fact, it had gotten to the point where I had to make sure that Gabriel had my head and face covered so my hair didn't start to fall out.
