Don't Die

"I'll help him back to his room. You should eat," Jimin appeared and encircled his arm around Taehyung to support his weight.

"What a disappointment," Mr. Kim sighed, walking into the dining room, followed by Mrs. Kim and Mr. Jeon. I stood staring at Taehyung as he stomped off in frustration. He's still mad at me. Sighing, I looked down onto the floor guiltily.

"Come on, let's eat," Jungkook sighed, grabbing my arm, then pulled me into the dining room. I didn't eat much, so I just sat there, staring at my plate in silence.

"Did you invite the Park over from our guest house? Go and escort them," Mrs. Kim nodded at the maids, who quickly rushed off towards the guest house, or should I say another mansion? Their guest house is as big as an average mansion, so it's more like a guest mansion? Rich people, you see.

"Why aren't you eating?" Jungkook asked, curiously turning to look at me when he noticed I didn't touch my food.

"I'm not hungry," I whispered. Jungkook paused and bit his lower lips.

"Is it because of Taehyung?" He sighed, keeping his eyes locked with mine.

"Maybe, it's just... everything," I shrugged, looking away from him. Why is he giving me that look? Did I do something wrong?

"You know it's not your fault, right? Maybe what you did was stupid, but it's not entirely your fault," Jungkook took a sip from his glass.

"But I feel like it's all my fault," I turned to look at him again. I can't blame anyone else but myself.

"Ani, stop blaming yourself stupid," Jungkook shook his head. Sometimes he's sweet and caring, but other times he's just an asshole. Why? Shaking off the thoughts, Jungkook and I quickly left the dining room and separately went to our room.

"What is Yoongi up to...? I hope he's alright. I miss you," I whispered while lying down on my bed. I want to see him. I miss his touch and love. I couldn't stop thinking about what he said back at the post-alpha party. It was a warning, but who is he trying to warn me from though? His parents? Why is he so afraid? What happened while I was gone?

"Open the door," Jungkook called as he knocked on my door, startling me.

"What?" I asked, curiously opening the door for him.

"Are you phoneless or what?" He asks quickly.

"What are you talking about?" I stared at him in confusion. Why is he asking me that?

"You don't have a phone," Jungkook whispered in disbelief.

"Yeah, I don't have a phone. I lost it back during the runaway. Why?" I shrugged, leaning against my door.

"Your boyfriend called me. I don't know how but he called me," Jungkook shrugged, cautiously looking down the hallway. I stopped breathing when my heart pounded in excitement.

"What? Why did he call you?" I stared at Jungkook in shock. Why did Yoongi call Jungkook? Is he alright?

"He asked me to relay a message. He asked to have dinner with you tomorrow at his hotel," Jungkook said quietly. What?

"That's all?" I questioned Jungkook in confusion.

"Yeah, that's all," Jungkook shrugged while scratching his head.

"But how will I get to him?" I whispered sadly. I'm sure they won't let me out of the mansion.

"I think appa will let you go. Just promise you won't do anything reckless again, and I'll talk to him for you," Jungkook sighed, darting me a worried expression. Awee... he's worried?

"When were you this nice?" I broke into a bright smile.

"I'm not being nice! I'm just helping you out because you tried to help me with Minah! Stupid!" Jungkook suddenly snapped in frustration, stomping off without another word.

"Sweet jerk," I chuckled as I watched him enter his room. I guess there's the good and the bad in people huh? Smiling, I turned around and closed my door, but it wouldn't shut all the way.

"What the...?" I whispered, trying to close the door again, but it wouldn't shut. Confused, I slowly looked down to find a black boot between my door. My heart stopped as I stood staring at the familiar black boot.

"Tae-Taehyung...?" I stuttered, looking up to find Taehyung staring at me blankly between the door gap.

"What are you doing?" I nervously asked him as my chest swelled in guilt. Why is he here?

"I-"

"Taehyung!" I gasped in shock when Taehyung suddenly lost his balance, stumbling into me. I caught him by his shoulder as he numbly leaned against me.

"You're still drunk...?" I whispered as the alcoholic scent filled my nose again.

"I- you- mianhae- I," Taehyung mumbled random words as he snuggled into my neck, sending chills down my spine.

"Aish... you're drunk. Come on," I exhaled, helping him out of my room.

"Ani- don't want to-" Taehyung refused to enter his room.

"You're so heavy though! Stop being so stubborn!" I grimaced, placing one of his arms around my shoulder.

"Ani! I hate it!" He loudly whined as he drunkenly took a step back until I lost my balance.

"Ah! Taehyung!" I gasped when I stumbled backward with Taehyung. He fell onto the floor with a loud thud.

"Ow!" Taehyung slowly crawled back onto his feet, then leaned against the wall for support.

"You're a hot mess," I panted and darted him a bitter look. Why is he this drunk anyways?

"I-sjhd-youhsh," Taehyung muttered while waving his fingers at me. Huh? What is he saying?

"Araso! Araso! Come on! I'll make you some hangover soup," I waved my arm in frustration before helping him down the hallway. I laid him down on the couch in the living.

"Don't go!" He whimpered, tightly grabbing onto my arm.

"I'm going to make you hangover soup. Okay?" I whispered... pushing his hand away.

"Don't leave me! Jebal! I'm sorry!" Taehyung face twisted in pain as he held onto me. I glanced down at his firm grip, then averted my eyes to his worn-out expression.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'll be back. Araso? I'll be back," I sighed, pushing his blonde bangs away from his forehead. His head is so warm. Is he sick?

"You'll be back... you'll be back...," Taehyung whispered, finally letting go of my arm. He mumbled nonsense under his breath with his eyes closed, then turned to hug the cushion.

"I'll be back," I muttered and made my way into the empty kitchen. I quickly chopped the veggies to cook him the hangover soup. I hummed softly while stirring the pot.

"Ah... now I just have to wait," I whispered while staring at the pot on the stove, waiting for it to boil.

"I hope it tastes okay," I whispered, picking up the cutting board to scrape the food waste into the bin.

"Now I only have to clean- ARGHHH! You scared me!" I screamed when I turned to find Taehyung leaning against the kitchen door. I was so startled by his presence, I almost pushed the cutting board off the counter.

"Mianhae... I didn't mean to scare you," Taehyung said quietly as he drunkenly made his way towards the counter.

"I told you to wait in the living room," I shook my head as I cleaned the kitchen. I turned to find Taehyung leaning against the counter, pressing one of his hands against his cheek to keep his head up.

"How much did you drink?" I asked as I walked toward the fridge in disbelief.

"Nan molla... but my head is hurting," Taehyung groaned while rubbing his head. I pulled the fridge open and took out a bottle of ginseng drink before handing it to him.

"This will help- drink it," I sighed, turning to brew the stew again.

"The bottle is broken," Taehyung whispered quietly.

"What do you mean the bottle is broken-" I turned to find Taehyung picking on the bottle.

"It won't open," Taehyung mumbled. He shook his head as he attempted to open the bottle again and narrowed his eyes at the ginseng bottle in confusion.

"Taehyung-ah, the bottle is upside down," I whispered. I was dumbfounded when I realized Taehyung was trying to unscrew the upside-down bottle. He's picking on the bottom of the bottle instead of the cap.

"Of course, you can't open it," I laughed after taking the bottle out of his hand and unscrewed it for him.

"Ah. This is what Kim Taehyung is like when he's drunk, huh?" I smiled, watching him drink the ginseng drink. He pretends to be tough all the time... but he's nowhere near being a violent person Taehyung when he's drunk. It's kinda adorable.

"Here have the soup," I carefully placed the bowl in front of him. Without saying anything, he dug into the soup. He quietly ate without uttering a single word, so I sat in silence.

"Wae?" I looked at him in confusion when he suddenly halted to stare at the bowl... as if to recall his lost memories.

"How did I get here?" He looked up at me in confusion.

"Um... you were drunk," I whispered, sitting up awkwardly. Taehyung stared at me in silence. Is he sober now?

"I'm sorry," He said shortly. What...? What for?

"Taehyung-" I called when Taehyung quickly put his spoon down and rushed out of the kitchen in a hurry.

"Ah... I'm so frustrated," I sighed when I felt the aching pain in my chest again as I sat in the kitchen alone. I thought he forgave me, but I guess not. A stream of tears suddenly rushed down my cheeks as I quietly sobbed in the kitchen. The pain is tearing me apart. Wae? Wae? Why am I feeling this? I'm so damn upset without a proper explanation!

Mr. Jeon agreed to let me meet Yoongi for dinner, but I will be accompanied by a few bodyguards.

"You should thank me," Jungkook smugly nudged me as I waited for the car to pick me up.

"Thank you," I smiled at him.

"Appa got you this," Jungkook handed me a new phone. Omo? Did he have to buy it for me?

"This is too much, but I'll thank him personally after I return," I gasped after taking the phone from Jungkook. I feel bad for accepting it after the trouble I caused.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook called out when Taehyung rushed out of the mansion.

"None of your business," Taehyung sneered, turning to look at me. My smile suddenly faded away when I remembered what happened last night.

"Tsk, you-"

"Shut up," Taehyung cut Jungkook off before glancing away from me. He's still mad.

"You're not even dating, but you left him so broken already," Jungkook sighed as he watched Taehyung race out of the mansion on his bike.

"W-what?" I turned to look at Jungkook. What the hell is he saying?

"He's obviously a mess because of you," Jungkook shrugged, turning to look at me with a sly smirk.

"You're blabbing nonsense again," I frowned at him. Why is he saying that?

"You know what? Nevermind. Your ride is here, don't die, stupid," Jungkook sighed and patted my shoulder before stepping back into the mansion.

"Don't die? Are you cursing me?" I snapped in irritation, so Jungkook waved at me and closed the door. I glared at him and entered the car.

"Why am I so nervous?" I whispered as my heart pounded rapidly the closer I got to Yoongi.

"Omo! it's her!"

"Master's girlfriend?"

"I heard they broke up!"

"No, they didn't!"

"She's not even an alpha though!"

"I know right," The staff gossiped everywhere as I walked into the hotel.

"Hurry up," I gritted my teeth uncomfortably as I stared at the elevator. How can they be so harsh? Saying mean things right in my face? I wanted to turn around and leave when someone suddenly pulled me into a tight hug.

"I miss you," Yoongi gasped, wrapping his arms around me. My heart stopped beating when I smelled his familiar cologne.

"Yoongi," I whispered in tears when I turned to find him standing right in front of me. The staff fell silent while some gasped in shock.

"God, I was dying to see you," Yoongi whispered, leaning in to give me a soft peck, earning a few more gasps from the staff, making my heart flutter. Always.

"Come on," Yoongi smiled, leading me into the elevator.

"Uh, give us some space. Get on the next lift," I stopped my bodyguard from entering the elevator with us.

"Miss we-"

"Do as she says. We'll see you at the dinner lounge," Yoongi blankly turned towards the guard before the elevator closed.

"Yoongi-"

"Shh," Yoongi immediately pressed his lips against mine to stop me from talking.

"I miss you," Yoongi aggressively kissed me as he ran his arm down my back to hold me against him. I gave in and kissed him back, so he gripped my waist as I ran my hands over his chest. The elevator grew hotter as we caressed our lips in a steady rhythm.

"I miss you too," I whispered as he pushed me against the elevator wall with his fingers tangled in my hair. I pulled him closer while running my hand through his hair. I couldn't get enough of him, so I drew him closer to me. I finally felt safe and happy again as our wet lips caressed against one another, making my skin crawl at his every touch.

"I love you," Yoongi whispered, pulling away from me as he rubbed his hand against my cheek.

"I love you too," I smiled while staring at him. My heart is burning for him.

Fast Forward

I was on my way home after dinner with Yoongi when someone called me.

"The most handsome guy Jeon Jungkook...? Tsk. What a narcissist," I huffed when I saw the contact. Why is he calling me? I answered his call.

"SORA!- SO-"

"Why are you calling me?" I questioned in confusion.

"GET OFF- CAR- SORA- bzzzz-" Jungkook yelled, but the signal was so bad I couldn't hear him properly.

"I can't hear you!" I snapped, glancing at my phone in confusion.

"LISTEN- BZZZ - SJHAGSAH- DANGER SORA LISTEN TO ME- BZZZ," Jungkook kept on screaming nonsense into the phone. What the hell?!

"I can't hear you. I'm gonna hang up now," I furrowed my eyebrows.

"SORA NO-" Jungkook yelled louder, but the signal sucked, so I hung up on him.

"Boss called- but I couldn't hear what he was saying," The bodyguard turned to look at the driver.

"I'll contact him," The driver muttered. What's going on? What's wrong with the signal?

"Boss, I can't hear you- Young master?! Young master?!" The driver replied, but he got no response.

"The signal is crazy. I can't hear anything," The driver sighed, turning to look at the bodyguard. Somehow something felt really wrong. Jungkook sounded very worried. My phone started vibrating again, but it was an unknown number.

"What the hell?" I whispered and answered the call.

"Who is this-"

"Sora, where are you?! - give me the phone! " Jimin screamed into the phone, but the voice changed.

"I-"

"Sora? Listen to me, "Jungkook yelled shakily through the phone.

"What's going on?" I cried, feeling super scared. Are they in trouble? Or am I trouble?

"Sora, get off-" Jungkook's voice was drowned by the sudden loud honk. A bright beam of lights flickered to my left. I turned in horror to find the headlights of a huge truck driving right into us at full speed.

Everything slowed down as I stared at the bright beam in terror. Suddenly- an immense force crashed into the car... sending me slamming back and forth into the window. My head hit something so hard- I felt the world spinning around me. Pain surged through my entire body as I swayed back and forth in the car. The whole world turned blurry as my eyes dropped from the sudden impact. I couldn't hear anything but my own unsteady breathing.

Who...who...who...?

Why...?

What happened during dinner?

Who did it? Or was it just a mere accident?
