Paige observed him; she had already planned to do with a drugged male lead long before being reborn. She always asked herself why they wouldn't do that in the novels- so seeing Eno grin weirdly didn't faze her much.

She also wouldn't make a fuss about coming back. Paige wanted to let Lance and his parents know first- about her own parents, that didn't matter that much to her, but she needed Mr. Donavan, so she could let them know.

She would never bolt in on Lance' birthday party, that's fucking impolite, what was Eno thinking of her? Then she would face a ton of gawking people and hinder Lance in socializing, yeah- no way. That all had not even mentioned the second-hand embarrassment she felt for herself when just thinking about her crashing Lance's debut in high society.

Both had their own plans, and Eno went shopping for dresses for her to make a grand entrance.
