5. Story Outline

This month did wonders on both of them. While Paige lost weight and improved her blood circulation, Lance gained weight and even grew a bit.

The evening before school, they sat down together again.

Paige had managed to write an outline of the story during this time. First, she wrote a story similar to the one of this world, and day after day, she made small corrections until it matched perfectly. She only had to endure a few electric shocks; it was truly easier than talking.

Greeting Lance while seating across from him, just like a month ago, she handed him a sheet.

|| Story Outline: Lance Walker came from an aristocratic, wealthy family with millions of assets. With wealth comes enmity, and he was kidnapped at the young age of four. His parents did everything they could to find him, only to be left disappointed.

After a few years, they found a boy named Jace. The boy was in poor condition, but he resembled their lost child, and after a DNA test confirmed he was indeed their son, he was welcomed back home.

Joyfully, they continued their lives, and Jace—the name was adapted because he was already accustomed to it—thrived under their care, becoming a model student.

On the first day of school in their senior year, there were two new students: the female lead, Natasha, and the true male lead, Lance.

Natasha, being the sweet and graceful character she was, faced bullying on her first day and was ostracized by the school bully. By chance, Lance helped her and became her desk mate; they became acquaintances.

The school bully fell in love with Lance at first sight and continued to terrorize Natasha during their three years until graduation, becoming increasingly outrageous. The male lead encountered many situations, rescuing her repeatedly.

Jace emerged as the second male lead, adding more turmoil to the story. After much back and forth, Natasha ended up with Lance, who was revealed to be the 'real son.'

His family, not having the heart to get rid of Jace, let him live with them as a brother until Jace went too far in fighting the male lead, which resulted in him being kicked out of the family.

The school bully, Paige, was also from a rich family like everyone else at their school, but with a good relationship to the principal, she wielded considerably more power over the other students, being feared by everyone. After going overboard with her hatred for the female lead in college later, she was punished by the male lead. Blablabla and Happy End. ||

Lance glanced at the "Blablabla" before the "Happy End" and chuckled.

What he didn't know and what Paige hadn't written down was the hardcore content.

This was a sadistic and very dark novel. That meant the male lead was raped shortly before attending the school, killing one of his attackers, starting to do drugs afterwards, having terrible temper outbursts, and playing around with girls.

Later, he imprisoned the female lead and... yeah.

Then Jace imprisoned the female lead too; Paige herself was also imprisoned, and somehow, everyone was imprisoned at least once, with rape scattered throughout.

She herself was set up for a gang rape by the male lead towards the end.

The author was apparently brain-damaged or had to compensate for some kind of sadistic complex.

It was a really disturbing read; she pulled through nonetheless because she was a shut-in; she had read every novel she could get her hands on, and after reading all the novels she found remotely interesting, she hoped to get amnesia to be able to read them again. But her memory was far too good, so reading a novel twice was torture for her.

After getting the story told anew by the system, she immediately remembered having read this before and mentally facepalmed.

"So we are in a happy, sappy high school romance with damp blood behind every door?" Lance scoffed.

She slowly shook her palm sideways, saying, "So-so."
