Ch-16 < Decision >

Kevin sat quietly on the edge of the bed, deep in thought. The events of the past few days had weighed heavily on his mind. The situation had escalated beyond anything he had anticipated.

Otto had gone too far, and the possibility of reconciling with Schicksal seemed a distant dream now.

Even Sirin radiated hatred that almost seemed to bleed into the air around her. And Bianca—sweet, kind-hearted Bianca—had changed significantly. Her eyes held a sharp, unwavering resolve, and Kevin could tell she would not stop until she had destroyed Otto once and for all.

"Otto... what a foolish man you are," Kevin muttered to himself. He stared out into the darkness, trying to find a solution, some way to end this conflict without further bloodshed.

But as the hours passed, he came to a single conclusion. It was time to tell Bianca and Kiana about his studies on time, the "time warp" skill, and the possibility it offered: a way to change the timeline, to fix what had been broken.

He watched the sisters closely as they slept, noting how much they had grown. Their bodies were now those of goddesses, strong and graceful, yet still carrying the softness of youth.

Kevin knew they were ready for the next step. He had to take them away from this world, away from the constant threat of Otto, and the endless battles that awaited them here. He decided to bring them to another world—one where they could train, grow, and perhaps find a semblance of peace.

With a determined expression, he activated the system authority. In a blink, he transported them to the borders of the Tensura world, a place of great mystery that lay in the space-time void. Kevin's true body resided here, hidden in a subspace, a realm beyond the comprehension of most beings. He placed the sisters gently into this subspace, a safe haven for now.

In the far corner of the subspace, Elysia and Jyahnar lay asleep. The system chimed softly in Kevin's mind: "They will wake up in two weeks."

Kevin settled in to wait, keeping watch over Kiana and Bianca. Sixteen hours passed, and finally, Kiana began to stir. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked around, her face confused and wary.

At first, she tensed, her body ready to fight, but the moment she saw Kevin, her whole demeanor changed. A glowing smile spread across her face, and she jumped up, throwing herself into his arms.

"Where were you, you fool?" she demanded, hugging him tightly. She buried her face in his chest, inhaling deeply. "And why do you smell so good?" she added.

Kevin chuckled, gently patting her head. "You're acting like a bit of a pervert, Kiana," he said and his eyes soft with affection.

"I don't care," she pouted. "You were gone too long!" She tightened her grip around him, refusing to let go.

Kevin felt a wave of relief wash over him. At least Kiana hadn't changed much. Still the same, still his little ball of energy.

Bianca, on the other hand, slowly began to wake up, blinking sleep from her eyes. She looked around at the unfamiliar environment, her expression wary at first.

But the sight of Kevin relaxed her immediately, and she moved toward him, sitting on his lap with a satisfied smile.

"No fair! That's my spot!" Kiana complained, her voice whiny. She tried to push Bianca away, but stopped when her sister shot her a warning glare.

Kevin couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

Bianca looked around again, her curiosity piqued by their surroundings. "Where are we?" she asked, a note of caution still in her voice.

Kevin's smile faded slightly, replaced by a more serious expression. "We're on the border of this world's space-time," he explained. "Beyond here lies another world."

Smoke seemed to come out of Kiana's ears. "I don't get it…" she muttered, clearly confused.

Bianca, more focused, pressed on. "Why are we here ?"

Kevin sighed softly. "Do you remember how I told you that my world was destroyed?" Both sisters nodded, their expressions sobering.

"In desperation, I searched for a way to change it… to undo what happened. And the only choice I found was to go back in time."

"Go back in time?" Bianca repeated, her brows furrowing. "That's… not possible, is it?"

Kevin nodded slowly. "Ordinarily, no. But the Final Herrscher's main power is time control. My world was destroyed by the Outer Gods when I defeated the Final Herrscher and got her core".

Bianca's eyes widened. "So… you were hunted? Even after everything you did?" She looked at Kevin, her eyes filled with sympathy and understanding.

Kevin nodded. "Yes. I became their target. They unleashed their wrath on my world because i was considered an anomaly.

To prevent what shouldn't be destroyed. I discovered the 'time warp' skill, a way to manipulate time. But even I go back in time, I Don't have the strength to confront outer gods. So, I devised another plan… to travel to another world, to become so strong that even the Outer Gods couldn't defeat me."

Bianca's face softened with understanding. "And that's why you're here… and why you brought us here?"

Kevin nodded. "Yes. This world—Tensura—it's different. It offers opportunities to grow, to learn… and to become stronger. Strong enough to protect the ones we love."

Kiana had been listening intently, but now she spoke up, her eyes bright with curiosity. "Those two girls over there," she said, pointing to Elysia and Jyahnar. "One with with blue… she look familiar."

Kevin's face softened. "They're my close comrades… and lovers," he explained gently. "They fought the Final Herrscher with me. But they were injured by the Outer Gods and still haven't woken up."

Kiana looked at the blue-haired girl and felt a strange pull. "Are they… are they alive? Will they wake up?"

Kevin nodded. "Yes, but it may take another week or so. They are in a deep slumber, recovering their strength."

Bianca's resolve strengthened. "We'll go with you, Kevin but first i need to setlle some account with otto," she declared, determination clear in her voice.

Kiana, not to be outdone, nodded eagerly. Her eyes suddenly changed to a deep yellow as Sirin surfaced. "If we can change the past," she said, "does that mean… Bella and the others could be saved?"

Kevin turned to her, recognizing the seriousness in her voice. "Yes," he replied with a nod.

That answer seemed to pump life into Sirin, who gave a fierce smile. "Then let's do it," she declared. "Let's make sure we can save them all."

Kevin felt a surge of hope that they might be not alone after all.

"Then let's go," Kiana said but Kevin stopped them.
