Stefan waited for a call from Gabriel after sending him the information about the doctor Bernard. As he carried out more research, the data he discovered contradicted him.

He wondered how many things were kept from them and why that was the case.

As he continued to look at the phone in front of him, his mind raced, hoping for a positive outcome from this meeting.

"Breakfast is ready," Ella's cheerful voice snapped him out of his trance, and he noticed her standing by the door.

When she noticed the tense expression, she walked inside, her smile faded into worry.

"Stefan, is everything all right? You have been quiet ever since you arrived. Is something bothering you?" she asked taking the seat next to him on the couch.

Stefan had no reason to hide anything from Ella because he trusted her enough with everything in his life. So when she questioned him about his concerns, he did not hold back.
