As she approached Su Bai, intending to show affection, Xiao Wu caught a whiff of an unfamiliar scent emanating from him. Her expression shifted, and she frowned, "Su Bai, have you been with another woman?"

Su Bai nodded without denying it. "It was Bibi Dong, the woman you've met before."

Xiao Wu lapsed into silence, her thoughts swirling with conflicting emotions.

Though she had previously encouraged Su Bai to take another wife to alleviate her burdens, she couldn't suppress the discomfort gnawing at her heart. Even though she had met Bibi Dong and consented to Su Bai's choice, the reality hit her differently now.

Xiao Wu found herself unable to feel any joy as the moment unfolded.
