As promised, Penny explained everything to Benjamin from start to finish. One of the most annoying things about telling a story to a busybody was that they wanted full details of everything. So, even during dinner, Benjamin joined Penny and Zoren to get the entire story. 

"Oh…" Benjamin's lips formed an O-shape as he nodded in understanding. "So that's what happened, huh?"

Penny and Zoren glanced at each other and sighed, then turned their eyes back to Benjamin. 

Benjamin furrowed his brows and cast the couple a look. "So, all this time, sir, you knew…?" His breath hitched as he processed this realization. His eyes widened instantly as Zoren shrugged.
