49:Unfinished Revenge

While a joyous and jubilant atmosphere prevailed all around Evan and others, Migol and Henna were harassed by the media, and at the same time, painted as cruel, sinister beings. 

From the beginning, they knew that they couldn't win the fight, so all they could do was divert it. They had planned to harm Evan and pin the blame on Suri, but who knew that the little beast would escape the disaster? 

If only Evan had been harmed, they could have pinned all their blame on Suri. Alas... 

To add further salt to their injuries, they were fined 2.5 million rupees. The initial punishment was two years of imprisonment, but they managed to stay out by paying a hefty fine.

Further, Suri demanded a public apology, threatening that if not, then she wouldn't stop pressing them further. 

But for now, that wasn't the important or gravest matter. 

Migol, standing near the window, looked back at his wife with a deep sigh.
