　　"You don't want me to want you?" I said, tipping my head, trying to decide if she was adorable, or being childish.

　　"No! I mean, yes, of course I do. But no, that's not what's bothering me."

　　"Then what is it?"

　　Her brows pinched a V over her nose. "I guess it's… it's that it feels less special when you know other people are… aware of it. Like… like it's something you'd do with just anyone. Like eating."

　　"I'd be happy to eat you if that's what you-"

　　"Cazz, be serious!"

　　I sighed and stroked her hair again. "Our peoples think differently about this. You and I think differently about this," I said carefully. "And I will not… hide you from them. Or hide my desire for you. It's good that they know how I want you."
