ASHLEY’s POV

It’s been what? 2 days? 3 days? A week? I don’t know. I had lost counting of how many days have passed while I was waiting here in the hospital.

Uno still hasn’t woken up, and the longer time passed by, the more it tortured me. I walked down the foyer towards the room where he was staying and stopped in front of the door when I saw Samuel standing beside the bed and a woman sitting on the chair to whom I believed was his wife, Uno’s mother.

She gently stroked his hair, and a soft cry left her lips. That sight shattered my heart all over again.

She then stood up and hugged Samuel and together they walked towards the door, startling me. I still couldn’t brace myself to speak to them.
