ASHLEY’s POV

Every step I made as I walked along the hallway of the school felt heavy. I couldn’t concentrate on Mr. Parker’s class earlier because my mind was still occupied with what’s happening with Uno. Even Sofia couldn’t crack a joke on me because I ignored her and not paying attention on her the whole day.

I was all alone yesterday in the house because Uno left again and he went home late last night. This morning, he left very early and only texted me that he needed to go somewhere. He still hadn’t contacted me again after his last text this morning.
