MD-Chapter 161 I'm Not That Easy!

"Bifrost!!"

Arthur's eyes widened as he saw it. He quickly patted his spaceship, storing it away, and rushed over to Thor's side in just two steps.

Compared to Bifrost, the Frost Giants were nothing to worry about!

Arthur's figure was clearly different from the Frost Giants, but his sudden appearance still raised their suspicions.

He immediately removed his mask, revealing his face. "I'm human! A human from Earth!"

No one had time to question why an Earthling was in Jotunheim. At that moment, an old man appeared in the light descending from Bifrost.

Thor swung his hammer and shouted, "Father, let's kill them all together!"

The old man glared at Thor fiercely. Meanwhile, a Frost Giant floated up on a platform of ice and said to the old man, "Odin, you look tired."

"Laufey, let's end this here," Odin replied, trying to negotiate. As he spoke, he glanced at Arthur with a thoughtful expression on his face.

Arthur, however, didn't notice Odin's glance. He was too anxious, worrying about whether they would leave him behind. If they left him here with the Frost Giants, would he have to tell them he was an Earth souvenir? That would be a real mess!

He made up his mind: if they did try to leave him, he would summon his trusty spaceship, "The Idiot Abomination," and force his way onto Bifrost. If that failed, he could always fly back into space with the spaceship. With "the Idiot Abomination" leading the charge, he wasn't afraid of being left behind by these blue-grey-skinned giants!

Feeling more at ease with a plan in mind, Arthur's nerves settled. However, before he could relax, Odin and Laufey's negotiations broke down. In an instant, a blast of rainbow-colored light descended from the sky, knocking Laufey flying.

At the same time, Arthur felt a powerful force pulling at him. The next moment, his surroundings exploded into a kaleidoscope of color.

It didn't take long for him to regain his footing, but he was no longer on the cold, dim planet. Instead, he found himself in a grand, golden hall.

Standing to the side was a black-skinned Asgardian warrior.

The elderly man, dressed in armor, casually removed a two-handed sword crackling with lightning from the center of the hall and tossed it to the Asgardian warrior.

As this happened, the old man ordered the injured to be taken for treatment while engaging in a heated argument with Thor.

Arthur, meanwhile, looked around the hall, his eyes wide with excitement.

Bifrost, Thor, Odin, Jotunheim, blue-grey-skinned giants, Laufey!

He took a deep breath, quickly sifting through his mental database for relevant information.

In no time, he realized: this must be the plot of *Thor*'s first movie!

Odin, the All-Father, had been preparing to pass the throne to his eldest son, Thor, when the Frost Giants invaded the treasure vault, disrupting the ceremony. Angered by the Frost Giants' actions, the hotheaded Thor, along with his brother Loki and a few friends, went to challenge Laufey, king of the Frost Giants.

However, they were overwhelmed by the Frost Giants and had to be rescued by Odin. In response to Thor's reckless actions, Odin stripped him of his powers and sealed them within Thor's hammer, casting him and the hammer to Earth…

"This is my chance!!!"

After quickly processing everything, Arthur's eyes lit up. When Odin banishes Thor to Earth, it would be the perfect opportunity for him! If he didn't take advantage of this Bifrost ride, he'd be stuck wandering in space for another three months. Now, he could get to Earth in under a minute!

The risk was worth it!

Just as Arthur was brimming with excitement, Odin suddenly roared, invoking the name of his ancestors as he stripped Thor of his armor and threw him into Bifrost. He then whispered a few words to Thor's hammer before tossing it into Bifrost as well.

Seizing the moment, Arthur swiftly jumped into Bifrost.

But before he could even celebrate, a hand shot through the Bifrost, grabbed him, and yanked him back out!

"F***!!"

Arthur was dumbfounded. "What the hell?"

He had already made it into Bifrost, and they could still pull him out? How was that even possible?

"Mortal, how dare you show disrespect to the All-Father?"

The Asgardian warrior immediately drew his greatsword after speaking.

The one who had grabbed Arthur was none other than Odin. He waved the warrior off, signaling him to put away his weapon. Then, Odin stared at Arthur with his one good eye.

Arthur felt uneasy under the intense gaze like he was being scrutinized by something far beyond him.

"Father!"

A voice suddenly called out. Arthur turned to see a young man dressed in black, his eyes red, looking deeply sorrowful.

"There's no need to say anything," Odin said to him before returning his attention to Arthur.

Arthur felt increasingly uncomfortable under the old man's piercing gaze. "If you keep looking at me like that, I'll get shy."

Odin raised an eyebrow, paused for a moment, and then said, "Come with me."

"Huh?"

Arthur glanced at the still-active Bifrost, clearly hesitant.

But Odin paid him no mind. With a wave of his hand, they were suddenly transported to a grand, golden temple.

The old man removed his helmet and continued staring at Arthur.

To be honest, being scrutinized by this mighty king made Arthur nervous. Odin was incredibly powerful, and though Arthur couldn't fully gauge it, the weight of his gaze felt as heavy as a mountain pressing down on him.

But Arthur wasn't just anyone. Annoyed at being stared at for so long, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Are you trying to make me your son-in-law or something? Otherwise…"

"Sure!"

Before Arthur could finish, Odin nodded and said, "I have a daughter. If you're willing, I wouldn't mind making you her husband!"

"Uh… wait, what?"

Arthur was stunned. What kind of joke was this?

Odin's daughter? Hela?

The terrifying villainess from *Thor: Ragnarok*, with the smoky eye makeup? That ancient, fearsome, long-overdue bachelorette?

You'd have to be insane to want to marry her!

Arthur was speechless. "I think we should talk this over a bit more…"

"There's nothing to discuss," Odin said with a smile. "We can settle it right now!"

"Let's be reasonable here!" Arthur said gravely, raising his hand. "I'm not that easy!"
