Guilty or Innocent

He was looking up at the night sky on his back with the large Yetis to either side of him.

"Why do I change so much?" He asked.

The larger Yeti chuckled "Would you ask a river why it flows, you cannot stop change, especially within yourself"

Tomura tried to clarify "No, I mean sometimes I want to destroy the earth, then I save it and then I want revenge." He looked at the stars above them. "Why do I change."

The older Yeti chuckled again "Humans and Yetis are similar, we are water. You put water into a cup and it becomes the cup, put water in the sea and it becomes the sea."

Tomuras eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What?" He asked.

"We adapt depending on our surroundings, we change drastically depending on slight differences. Change is natural, you won't be the same you tomorrow." The older Yeti chuckled.

That wasn't comforting at all.

The Yeti chuckled "it's not meant to be comfortable, that's change for you"

Tomura turned his head "Did you just read my mind?" He asked half jokingly.

"Yes" The Yeti laughed at the shocked look on Tomuras face.

"But I have this mind barrier thing, not even Jean-"

"Your at peace, your mind is at peace, it does not feel the need to protect itself" the Yeti chuckled "The only thing in your head right now is that tiny brain! Hahahaha"

Tomura chuckled and looked back to the night sky.

He had been here a while, nearly 2 weeks he thinks. He searched the surroundings, he honestly wasn't sure if The Ancient One would pick him up in time for Jeans birthday.

She's turning 21, that means she can legally drink and he wondered to himself if she will get drunk with him and Logan.

That would be fun, what does drunk Jean even do?

He thought to himself about the future as he chopped at logs with a massive axe, unfortunately they didn't have a human sized one.

He heard a sudden echoing roar.

His eyes went wide and he suddenly felt alert, he could feel as his mind barriers suddenly raised.

That thing was loud, it must be huge.

He heard a sudden scream, it was-

He ran, he ran so fast towards the scream he looked like he was a blur to the average eye, he swerved in between trees as the surroundings blurred around him.

He eventually came to the valley where YiNi and the Father Yeti lived. He saw another larger Yeti, and then some sort of massive dog thing?

It was the size of a two storey suburban house, its teeth the size of swords, it was a dark blue colour with long white hair ontop of its large muscular body.

The unknown Yeti was also muscular and defined with scars running down its whole body, it had a metal sword as tall as Tomura himself in its tightly clenched fists with a fearful angry YiNi bowing down to the Yeti.

Tomura snarled as he used his unnaturally strong muscles to propel himself towards the unfamiliar Yeti.

He watched the Yeti pull back the sword to slash at the Boeing YiNi.

Tomura was faster.

His foot landed onto the Yetis jaw, and he kicked the yeti into a nearby mountain with a loud crack.

The Yeti roared to the Sky as he got back to his feet, his dog thing was growling at snapping towards the unflinching Tomura.

He would give them a chance.

"Leave" his voice was unfaltering. "And never come back" but it was tinged with rage.

"Leave, Boy! I shall not!" The Yeti shouted at it prepared its sword in a guard.

Tomura sighed, he looked towards Father, it turned out a Yetis name became Father when they have a son or daughter.

"He is guilty" Fathers voice trembled.

That's what's Tomura needed to hear.

The Yeti was prattling on about being King. How he had fought for this right, how he had the right to question his subjects.

Tomura looked up at the rage filled Yeti. "What are you king of?" He asked.

And before the Yeti could answer its eyes widened as suddenly a palm placed itself onto his face.

'Fast'

"Nothing" were the last words the Yeti heard whispered before he turned to bloody chunks that fell into the snow.

Tomura turned to the half mad dog thing that was charging at him.

It snapped towards his face, he swerved to right and hit the things meaty snout with a punch that sent the house sized beast rolling through the snow.

It whimpered but regained it bravado and charged back at the staring Tomura.

Said teenager was communicating with Father

'Would this thing come back if it live' Tomura asked.

He could hear the father sigh 'It is mad, it will do whatever is necessary in its mind to avenge its master'

Tomura dodged a hulk sized snout and placed his hand against the side of its snout.

What used to be a beast now just blew away in the form of ash.

Tomura turned to the father and son duo.

"Are you two alright? Who was that?" Tomura asked.

YiNe nodded as he wiped himself down. "The Snowden King, well he used to be" he said with grim finality. "Father we must go within the hour"

The father nodded as he looked at his beloved camp.

"You're leaving?" He said in surpirse.

Father nodded "Yes, we are no match for the Snowden kingdom."

"What? Where are they located?" He asked the father with narrowed eyes.

Father sighed "You cannot destroy them Tomura" he picked up his sons walking stick and handed it to the boy.

"I will" he said with a grim tone.

Father chuckled "If there is 50 innocents within its walls will you?"

Tomura felt his resolve dissolve, he had to change, he had to be better. "No, but i will speak to them, buy you time" he was truthful, Father nodded.

"Thank you boy, I hope we meet again, they are to the North." Father said as he started to rapidly pack up his camp.

He was going to talk to them.

He swore.

He was going to.

He looked around in shock, the Yetis were eating other Yetis, the kids were eating the meat of their own species.

Two guards were escorting him to the Palace, but he had lost them and donned some Yeti furs from a camp.

He to them looked like a short young Yeti merely wandering about.

To him, they were beasts.

He thought back to Father and YiNe.

He wanted to punish the guilty.

He looked around at the children, they weren't guilty for following the orders of their elders.

The prisoners in cages who seeked escape, they weren't guilty of being caged.

But kids learn to hate those that killed their parents.

And prisoners get desperate, especially if they come across YiNe or Father they may do something drastic to get some food of their own.

The guards weren't guilty of following orders.

He wanted to punish the guilty.

He walked into the centre of the city,

But he would protect his friends.

He thought back to Sterns.

He would not make the same mistake twice.

He dropped to one knee.

He did not relish this as he usually would, in fact he dreaded the feeling of his fingertips touching the tightly packed snow below.

The earth screamed.

The earth screamed for the blood of the innocent.

The earth screamed the Yetis who had no time to scream before they were ash and blood.

The Yeti furs dropped to the crater below, a wolf in sheep's clothing revealed to the city it destroyed.
