Alexandre's order

The registration was being done at what used to be a shop of one of the inhabitant of the Eastern part of Pollow district and going forward towards the rift valley, some houses that Virtya had set aside to be used for sheltering could be seen, However, most of these buildings were still occupied by their owners which made the knights to assemble the registered slaves beside the registration office after giving each one of them a satisfying meal made of gruel from millet. As one should know, now it was not hard to mill gruel because Virtya had made sure to create wind mills in each district where the cereals were milled, of course, milling was not done for free, the denizens would have to pay for their cereals to be milled.

As the slaves got registered and assembled, a commotion was heard and when the people looked at what it was, they saw several carriages coming slowly as the knights pushed the slaves and the workers aside to make way for the carriages to pass, at last, there was no more way to allow the carriages to move forward which forced the people who were inside these carriages to come out.

"Who is he?"

"It is king Virtya."

"No, that is not him, we would have already known if he was coming before he arrived."

"I think it is him. I don't know what he is going to make this time round, I hope it will be something great. I really don't know where he is getting all this knowledge from because from what I know, king Virtya was always a fool with no vision but... Maybe something has changed." A spy from Litkesh could not help but say to his friend.

"Fuck king Virtya, where does he want us to relocate to... I have been staying here for more than 50 years. This is my ancestral land but today, he gave us money and asked us to relocate, where? I will not move out of this place even if I was given a hundred million gold coins, I cherish my land than anything else. Let him kill me if he want!"

"Hehehe! Virtya is the one that should go, we are tired of him... How dare he wants us to relocate... Who is he to tell that to us??"

"I heard some people saying that king Virtya is sick in the head but I didn't knew what they meant but today, I have known what it meant. I will not sell my land."

"Rumours say that king Virtya is planning to construct a large warehouse in this place, I don't know what that would be used for?"

"You don't know?? Virtya is a pervert and he plans to build a mega brothel in this place where him and other royalties would be enjoying themselves."

"You don't know a thing!" Virtya plans to build a brew industry here... Why else would he plant so much barley? What is he going to use all that barley for if not for the brew industry!"

As the here-says escalated between the locals, the face of the prominent people who was being escorted by the carriages of the knights was finally revealed.

Alexandre didn't waste much time as the knights protected him from all sides and lead him quickly to where the slaves were being registered, Alexandre was a little drenched as he trudged into the building and here, he found the woman whom had been given the role of ensuring that all the labourers needed had arrived and registered. The woman was seated on her desk as she perused through the files of the slaves that had been bought by king Virtya.

"Is there any problem? Why are there so many people on the way, they should be taking shelter in the houses that we have set aside. The rains would make them sick when his majesty needs them by tomorrow to start working." Alexandre didn't go to pleasantries as he went directly to the matter at hand.

"Please forgive me. I have talked with the locals inhabiting those houses but they have refused to relocate even after we gave them the money that they asked for." The woman who was jittering answered.

Alexandre squatted on the floor and pondered for a moment before he stood up and patted himself to remove the rain drops from his suit, he then stared at the chief of the knights that protected him and said,

"I am going back to Whiten. I want you to make sure that all those locals have relocated and given us room for sheltering our workers... I don't want his majesty to come here and find this mess, clear all of them!" Alexandre said coldly before he walked out of the building and then he was escorted back to his carriage. It could be seen that only a few carriages left with Alexandre while the rest that remained were the knights that Alexandre had asked to make sure that the locals who were asked to relocate had done so.
