"Are they all wizards?" Andy asked curiously.
Cho Chang shook her head, "No, they are all ordinary people."
"Then have you found the magic community in China?" Andy asked with some anticipation.
More than anything else, the magic world of China was the thing Andy cared about the most. The magic there...or perhaps 'Taoism'? Would it be different from that of the West?
"Of course!"
Cho Chang said with a smug face, "I'm a witch, and when I travelled to China, I had to go to the Ministry of Magic to complete the formalities. When I arrived in China and just got off the aeroplane, the staff of the Ministry of Magic over there found me."
"However, it seems like it's not called the Ministry of Magic over there, uh... I don't know how it should be translated."
Andy hurriedly pursued, "What is the situation of the magic world over there? Is it the same as our side?"
Cho Chang explained, "The magic world of China is very different from our side, they also have magic schools over there, but they were all established in the last few decades."
"In ancient times, the Chinese magics were passed down in the form of sects, and they didn't recruit students from the Muggle world either."
Andy nodded, this was similar to what Andy had thought before.
There was a big cultural difference between the East and the West.
Moreover, according to the information Andy had, the magic world over in China had been hidden thousands of years ago, and there was no such thing as a 'school' at that time.
"Cho, have you ever seen them cast magic?" Andy asked curiously.
"Hm! Seen it once."
Cho Chang said, "But they don't use wands to cast spells, instead they use a kind of wooden sword. There are some differences in the shape, but I think that there should be no difference between that and a magic wand."
A mahogany sword?
Perhaps the peach wood sword was just one of them, after all, that was just a Muggle term.
Cho Chang then went on to talk about the various things she had seen and heard in the Chinese magic world. Andy thought that it would be great if it was made into a film.
In ancient times, the magic world of China had been passed down in the form of sects. After connecting with the international standards, the magic community of China also made a lot of reforms, established several magic schools and started enrolling students from the Muggle world.
Unlike the British magic world which only had two shopping alleys, Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley, there were many wizards in China, so there were gatherings of wizards in many of China's major cities.
"The Chinese side places great importance on the transmission of magic knowledge, and I can only buy the most basic magic books at the bookshop." At this point, Cho Chang still had a few regrets.
"Right!"
Cho Chang suddenly asked, "The books I bought this time are all in Chinese, how is your Chinese study going?"
This still needs to be learned?
Do you even need to learn the mother tongue?
"The progress is not bad." Andy smiled.
Cho Chang, on the other hand, looked sceptical, "Chinese is hard, especially these magic books, even my parents can't understand what's written on them."
Andy raised his eyebrows in surprise.
It couldn't be that ... it was written in classical Chinese, right?
Andy thought of a few Taoist scriptures that he had read on the internet in his previous life, that he really knew every word, but he didn't know what it meant when he connected them.
Shhh-
The door of the compartment was pulled open.
"Hi! Andy; Cho, hi there."
Hermione walked into the compartment, "You guys are here really early!"
As she spoke, Hermione pulled out her wand.
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
After storing her suitcase, Hermione looked left and right, while sitting beside Andy expressionlessly, as if it was very natural.
Cho Chang could not help but cover her mouth and smile lightly when she saw this.
However, she soon couldn't laugh anymore.
"Cho, did you find the Chinese magic world? How's it like there? Is it much different from our side?"
Hermione asked several questions in a row like a machine gun, "Have you seen the magic in China? I even made a point of checking it out when I was on holiday, and there's a big cultural difference between the Chinese side and ours ..."
Cho Chang felt a bit overwhelmed by the follow-up questions.
She was just about to answer, but she suddenly thought of Cedric.
It shouldn't be possible that when Cedric came over, he would ask her about this again, right?
"It's better to wait for Cedric to come over and then say it together." Cho Chang said, with a bit of a headache.
"I'll tell you!"
Andy happily took over the task, "The Chinese side is different from us here, they are organized into sects ..."
As the topic opened up, Cho Chang also added a couple of sentences from time to time.
Overall, the situation of the magic world in China was similar to what Andy thought, and with the convergence with the international standards, quite a few reform measures had been made over there as well.
"Andy, what do you think about travelling to China when we graduate?"
Hermione said with some anticipation, "That's an ancient country like Egypt, it should hide a lot of secrets too, right?"
"Yes!" To be honest, Andy also quite wanted to go back for a look, but that would have to wait until after graduation.
"Right!"
Cho Chang suddenly said, "The books I bought for you guys are in the suitcase, so I'll give them to you when we get to Hogwarts!"
"Thanks!" Andy said with gratitude.
Shhh...
As he was talking, Cedric suddenly pulled open the door of the compartment.
Glancing at the seats in the compartment, Cedric gave Andy a 'well done' look.
Andy was sitting with Hermione, so wouldn't he be able to sit with Cho Chang?
Then ...
"Cho, have you found the magic community in China?" Cedric asked with excitement.
He had done a lot of homework this summer holiday.
Cho Chang: "..."
There was no way around it, so Cho Chang could only retell it all over again. However, what she knew was only approximate, and it was just about the same content when all was said and done.
"Cho, have you ever visited a sect in China?"
Hermione curiously asked, "It's really unimaginable that after joining a sect, one would have to work for the sect for the rest of their life."
Cedric guessed, "Sects are similar to schools, right? Maybe the schools in China have their own kind of practice."
"Just like our Head, Professor Sprout is in charge of the Herb Greenhouses at Hogwarts, which is a source of income for the school if it were to be scaled up."
Hermione nodded, "If you put it that way, Professor Snape could bring in a lot of revenue for the school as well."
Cedric said, "If the students of the Chinese sect could be in charge of the sect's business once they graduated, it seems like a good idea when you think about it."
Hermione thought carefully about that kind of model before nodding in agreement.
Wooooowww-
The train started.
Andy leaned back in his chair, looking at the scenery outside the window that was constantly receding while chatting with Hermione's trio from time to time.
Everyone was very interested in the magic world of China.
It was a pity that Cho Chang didn't know much information.
She was, after all, just a thirteen-year-old girl, and there was no way her family would feel comfortable letting her go out alone. Unless her parents had the time, it would be difficult for Cho Chang to come into contact with the magic world of China as well.
"What's that?" Andy suddenly exclaimed.
Hermione, Cho Chang, and Cedric looked over at the same time.
Outside the train window, a small green sedan was flying in the sky, and a few frantic shouts were faintly heard from the sedan.
