"Is the village of Coedwig protected by Lord Gresvin?" a young boy asked, hiding behind his mother's back.
Marcus looked at the boy and smiled before pointing to the top of the hill, "Indeed we are. Look over there. Lord Gresvin has come in person."
With that, a series of conversations took place; most were to let the people who had been held hostage calm down and feel safe.
Only when that was done did Marcus try to figure out how they were being held hostage. The mother of the young boy answered, "We were doing our task for the village near the river of Caerleon. When it was time for us to return to the village, we were captured by bandits, and since then, it has probably been around almost a week since we were captured."
