A young man was hurled backward by the force, his sword raised defensively in front of him.

His hands trembled under the shock, his aura flickering erratically between shades of white and blue as he struggled to stabilize his mana flow.

Despite the nearly point-blank impact of the blast, he landed gracefully, his boots skidding slightly against the ground before coming to a halt.
