VALENCIA'S POV
It has been a couple of days since the incident with those dead bodies took place, and so far, we have yet to conclude.
The postmortem reports came just fine, but we still couldn't shake off the lingering feeling that something was wrong. Maverick and I exchanged looks as soon as we read through the report carefully.
"Are you sure that there was nothing suspicious?" Maverick asked.
The doctor before us nodded and explained how he had used his best knowledge and his doctor team to perform the postmortem, and the autopsy report was before us. Nothing could have escaped their notice.
Maverick nodded and dismissed the doctor before moving his hand through the hair.
"Something is wrong, Valencia. You can feel it, too, right?" He asked me, and I nodded.
