Hercules and Ajax took turns supporting Eneas; they did not abandon him in the sun or in the shade, as if they were his personal bodyguards. In fact, all the cadets at the academy were watching him. Fighting together under a situation of life or death had united them; they shared the pain for their fallen comrades, but also the two strong men had to thank him for putting them in charge of the combat groups, for that trust, for that recognition on the part of a boy whom everyone rightly called a hero elevated them in the eyes of everyone, and despite the competition between the two warriors, they knew how to be grateful.
All the officer school cadets who participated in the combat with the Titans were promoted to the rank of sergeant, and Eneas to Brigade, it was an intermediate rank before being named ensign or second lieutenant. The cadet had had very little time studying to be able to move much further.
