Did You Forget

Cruden escorted Roselia to the elevator. Silence plunged the couple when they entered the elevator and he revealed a black card lined with gold. A single tap revealed every level possible.

"A-are all of these floors below…" Roselia trailed off, running her fingers across the buttons. "Dungeons?"

"Not all of them." Cruden's voice was cold and composed, revealing he wanted the conversation to end. Her hand trembled as it fell. He took her hand instantly, but she didn't hold his back.

"What else is below us then?" Roselia asked, raising her head. Her heart stopped. He was always observing her. His eyes never strayed far from her. With the intensity of his gaze, she wondered if there was something on her face. He could never seem to look away.

"Dungeons, torture rooms, training grounds, weapons," Cruden reluctantly responded. "And more."
